Just combine take on some standouts from DB class....really liked Obie from Conneticut I believe. For his size, he showed great athleticism. I know his 40, vertical and long jump stood out to everyone, including me too but it was the field drills that impressed me more so. Great feet, hips and I'm pretty sure not one ball hit the ground that hit his hands. Know Denver isn't exactly shopping S high in draft ( prob by combine performance he's worked himself up to a high 2nd ) but if Denver were to grab him, I certainly would understand. :) Still like Lamp, Bolles, Mac, Kamara, Reddick or Howard at 20. After combine my love for Peppers went up to where I previously thought he wasn't actually 1st rd worthy as far as LB mostly.. Since he declared he is S and not considering Lb at all, his enthusiasm and character plus exceptional performance at combine, has changed my mind as far as 1st rd guy. He's going to be special I believe.

Me too... i wanted him for denver... probably wasnt going to happen but kid was my fav of that group of cbs. Achilles is awful... not sure i see him coming back off that at cb... maybe if he can play safety... but cb would be tough.

Achilles is a very tough recovery... Sadly, I've had 3 indoor players in the past year tear theirs... It is nearly a year recovery time.

This Yamen Sanders, S, Montana intrigues me. His size and workout numbers.

Denver needs another pass rusher. Miller had zero sacks the last 4 games due to double and triple teams.
Would not be suprised to see Elway go pass rusher again in round one

that has more to do with our interior than edge. We had nobody who could push the pocket or stop the run so teams just would step up or run the ball up the gut

That is what made that 2015 unit so dominant. When teams had to worry about Wolfe and Malik on the inside and Von and the other pass rushers on the outside there just was nowhere for the QB to go. Look at Brady in the AFC Championship. He is so used to just stepping up in the pocket letting those outside guys just barely miss him around the corner. When he couldn't step up though man it was fun to watch him panic.

Just saw C Zutah traded to SF from Ravens for 6th rd swap. Made me think who we have behind Paradis in case he has issues in recovery, etc so went to Broncos O line depth chart or I should say, lack of one. Aside from Center , and even with Leary and Watson signings, it doesn't look so good as of now. Most positions only had two listed and # 2 player at every position made me cringe. If I was John regardless of draft and FA, I would bring in as many undrafted Olineman as I can get my hands on and just hope you find one or two that could make roster. # GULP ! :)

I also feel my Iowa guy James Ferentz may not be in the picture this year now that the Texans coaching staff is gone.

Tell you what, the more I try to figure out what JE and Denver will do in 1 st rd on draft day, the more unsure I get. Not that I've ever come close anyway, but damn they could go so many ways especially if the Ot they covet is gone or they have a couple guys on O line they think they can " steal " or be there in 2-4. I mean how do pass on a Ross, Kamara, Reddick, Foster or Mac if say both Robinson and Lamp are gone and their just not quite sold on Ram and Bolles ? I prob say this every year, but I have no clue where they will go. If I could pick 10 guys they could/would grab in rd 1, I still have 50/50 shot at missing it easily. :) I think we need to go all in on OL and also hit IIB, TE ( if he's strong run blkr + ) and a wr that could take over #2 spot and move Sanders to permanent slot. Kupp from EW ( rd 2-3 ) could also be in play for slot and keep Sanders wide also. Just some more drawn out ramblings from a bored rained out Randymon :)

This is just my guess right now but it wouldn't shock me to see the Broncos try out Garcia at Center early on in camp while Paradis is still recovering. Maybe then move McGovern to his spot at the RG spot. Garcia played a lot of Center in college so wouldn't be a huge shock to him. Plus then gives us every one of our top power blockers on the field at the same time. That would be quite a bit of beef having Leary, Garcia, McGovern, and Watson on the field at the same time.

Joe Mixon is visiting Denver today. This is per Legwold. They've been doing a lot of work on him and the incident.

There is no denying the kid is a special talent. Throw in he brings the added element of being a return man. Hard to think we would have to cheer for a guy that has done that. AT the same time we all cheer for Talib every Sunday and well that guy has done some pretty shady things.

Ill cheer for Mixon all day long. He made a big mistake. Now he has a shot to prove he can rebound from the mistake. If he does it again, then no. I won't be cheering for him if he does it again.. But I am all for a second chance. We all make mistakes. It's the people that make them over and over that I have a hard time dealing with.

I cheer for Talib as a player but I think he is an awful person.
