Very nice move for the Mavs going forward

Especially with the top 18 protection on the first rounder. They likely give up 2 seconds instead.

That said, I did like Justin Anderson as a prospect. Has he not played well for the Mavs? I rarely watch them.

He has played really well lately. But he's raw and if you want Noel you have to give up SOMETHING.

Isn't he restricted, so they only have to match what someone offers?

Yup.
RFA, likely to get $18M+/yr. Possibly more if the Nets want him.
There was just no way Philly could pay him that much to play 18 mpg behind Embiid.

Wow....I'd probably do this deal if I'm Bird.

My prediction (if it happens): 2017 Brooklyn pick (no protections), Crowder, 2018 Boston 1st, future Grizz 1st + Zeller/Young for PG-13.
If the C's keep J Brown... I'm on board, too.

Hate losing Crowder... but keeping Brown helps mitigate that loss.

Sources: Indiana has agreed to a deal that will send Paul George to the Celtics in exchange for Jae Crowder and the Nets 2017 1st round pick

... and different tweet said Bradley was also part of the deal.

No idea if report is legit.

No chance in hell. Crowder and a 1st rounder :laugh3:

If I was the Celtics, I'd do whatever it takes to pair PG with IT.

As a Cavs fan, I'm hoping they don't.

I would be greedy and want Brown instead of Zeller/Young lol

I would want Brooklyn 2017 1st, Brown, and Crowder. Keep the other picks. Of course, salaries have to balance, so Zeller probably gets added. Or maybe Amir?

NBA Trade Machine - ESPN
of course, adding the Brooklyn pick
