His defense was directly corolated to his conditioning. When he was in shape, he offered GG-level defense. When he was a happy panda, he was atrocious. Why not? He played a decent 3b when he was pudgy out in SF and he looks like he's in great shape right now.

He looks like he's in great shape right now. I hope it translates to a very good year for Pablo, that would fill a significant hole in the Red Sox line up.
Such in-depth analysis that you can't find on ESPN or MLB Network. Who would think that losing your best hitter would leave a significant hole in the lineup?
The hole is at third base, you stupid, miserable asshole. When we start discussing DH's you can come back.
Losing perhaps the AL's worst offensive everyday 3B last year creates a 'significant hole?' Suuuuuure.....
They lost a guy who hit 33% less HR than the AL 3B average, and had an OPS more nearly 60 points lower than the AL 3B average...and that's significant in your view?
There's a reason I presumed you were talking about Ortiz, because it's idiotic to equate Shaw with significant loss.
Any-way. I hope he stays in shape man, I really do, but it's been a constant battle for him so I'm skeptical. It would be nice if he could have even a half decent season at 3rd.Derp
It was a hole last year and the year before that and a healthy, motivated, slimmed down Sandoval could fill that hole. I know that this is bit too much info for a little, 3rd world, affirmative action pecker head like you to process, but this discussion is about Pablo and the Sox 3rd base situation.
The discussion about the next Red Sox DH is for another thread.
Take your chapped political ass back to the PF, ya fucking dumbass.
