While I agree OSU is the correct choice what I don't get is the committee has been touting Conf champs and SOS from the beginning and then disregard a conf championship and head to head win and it just stinks imo.

So you don't see the correlation between big money teams and brand names? Have you been drinking antifreeze or are you being deliberately obtuse?

funny. last year Big money MSU went over OSU.

terrible representation of the Big 10 last year. MSU "earned" it, but OSU was the better team.

Because we have basically stated that conference championships are meaningless and the entire season is completely irrelevant. If you have a big name, you will be given the benefit of the doubt and fuck everything else. I get why Ohio State fans are all for this, it means if they are ever close, the committee will drop their pants and let Ohio state have their way. Let's all schedule FCS, a MAC and a Sunbelt team because losses are all that matter.

Given your performance on this thread, I present to you your new avi. Wear it with pride, soft-tosser!

People can think subjectively, that was sort of the point of ditching computers. There's always gonna be seemingly contradictory conclusions when comparing multiple seasons because there's so many variables. Some years, certain factors are gonna win out over others but I think it's pretty straightforward, they were attempting to get the 4 best teams period. It's hard for me to bitch about that.:noidea:

Well all three of them won their conference. You beat OU. Hey that's cool. I understand why beating OU is a big deal, believe me. :suds:

I think you made the exact opposite counter argument. People are arguing that Clemson, Washington, PSU, and Bama accomplished their goals and it should not just be about numerical numbers

no, someone made the point that OSU failed to take care of business, and lost one game. Why isn't it the same for clem and wash? their losses were actually worse.

I'm sorry, am I supposed to deny that michigan State was horrible this season? Sorry I am not a blind homer like some are but we were horrible and it took a idiotic call from Dantonio to gift wrap a win to Ohio State while Penn State destroyed us the next week.

yea and bad weather had absolutely nothing to do with how they played........

in other words OSU gets a do over for the Penn State game.

i figured they would drop OSU to 4th and make them play Alabama as punishment for not winning the conference

That was the only game they lost by 3 lol. Penn St lost two games. So your theory is Penn St had worse losses and Ohio St lost to a top 5 team and has the toughest schedule and they arent in the top 4. That's hilarious

Because those schools won their conference. They accomplished their 1st goal

Watch recruiting completely tank across the board in the B1G now outside of MI and tOSU. What kid wants to go to a conference where the title doesn't matter? May as well just go to the MAC.
Win all your games and you have nothing to worry about :noidea:

If you lose then it's out of your hands.

I saw Bambino learking in this thread. He's sticking needles in his Urban Meyer doll and softly crying as we speak.
