That's bullshit, if we win that game our resume is better. Because we actually go to the CCG,Michigan resume is not nearly as good as Ohio State and almost all of their tough games were home games

I really don't see a shit storm if Penn St gets left out. They are ranked 7 and have two losses. With the Buckeyes at 2 I think a lot of people feel they will not get dropped 3 spots. If Penn St gets in they jump Ohio State and Michigan which will rustle some jimmies. If they get in as a second B1G team there will be even more uproar, but I feel Washington and Clemson did enough today to lock in spots.
I can't be mad if Penn St jumps us though. They straight up beat us on the field. If you want to overlook two losses and a weaker resume/sos because of the h2h and conference championship, I can see that argument.
Good post.
Definitely a good post Brutus
That's opinion, cause they did beat 3 top ten teams. But if the majority opinion of the committee is they are not one of the four best then they should be left out, that's their job. Both teams are 12-1. If Ohio Staye wanted in they should have earned it on the field. Let's not pretend Ohio State didn't struggle. This isn't brand names and scheduling it's the best teams. And I do not think Ohio State is one of them. If they back in the playoffs because of politics.
They will get smoked in the first round against Alabama. And the committee will need to make revisions. And expand the play offs. Ohio State is an asterisk team at best now
Shoulda beat Penn St......... amirite?Ohio State has too many wins over top 10 teams and ranked teams in general.
All Penn State did tonight was strengthen Ohio State's resume by making that loss look like a great loss.
Bucks are in.
Mostly by Buckeye fans.Hear hear.
I think the Buckeyes get in, but if somehow OSU is left out, I think we'll be hearing about how badly they were jobbed for the next decade.
Of course there will be bitching from other sources if the Buckeyes get in. Not enough spots to go round
Clemson and Washington.
Alabama says hello.
I'm saying they should be #2 and #3Washington is safe. They just blew out Colorado in their CCG and their only loss is to a USC team that is playing as well as anybody right now not named Alabama.

Ohio State didn't have any tough back to back games, they had several weeks in between the tough games and nearly shat the bed against a shitty Michigan State team that made a horrific two point play call.I'm really not sure about that. We're going to learn a lot about Bama in the playoffs. SEC was really down this year. Sorry beating average teams doesn't impress me much. They were the only really good team in the SEC.
Oklahoma would smoke Penn State right now.
Fact.
I think you'll have some fans who bitch, but the consensus I'm seeming to get is we did not do enough to lock up a spot. Should have beat Penn St, no excuses.Hear hear.

Resume should mean jack shit. Have a fucking criteria and stick with it.I wasn't including a Michigan win in my comment. Michigan did not win

Careful.
You might get an opportunity to back up that statement.
Sorry I thought there was a week in between.@ Wisconsin and @ Penn State is not a tough back to back? WOW LMFAO

Instead of saying that PSU knocks out tOSU, why aren't we comparing resumes of Clemson and Washington to tOSU as well?
