All Penn State did tonight was strengthen Ohio State's resume by making that loss look like a great loss.

Michigan is not in the discussion. They are a 2 loss non conf champ. OU has more claim than they do. There is no rule that says you are obligated to be ranked higher cause you beat someone 3 months ago. They are not in this picture.

They are a lock to be ranked ahead of Penn St not only did they blow Penn St but also played a tougher schedule. Penn St will not even be in the discussion a top 5 spot.

Even if you want to put Penn State in, there is no way you can tell me that Clemson and Washington resume is better than Ohio State. As I said before if Ohio State is not in the final 4 tomorrow, they just need to come out and admit the only way to make the playoffs is by winning your conference title. At least everyone would know what needs to be done in order to be consider for a playoffs spot

I really don't see a shit storm if Penn St gets left out. They are ranked 7 and have two losses. With the Buckeyes at 2 I think a lot of people feel they will not get dropped 3 spots. If Penn St gets in they jump Ohio State and Michigan which will rustle some jimmies. If they get in as a second B1G team there will be even more uproar, but I feel Washington and Clemson did enough today to lock in spots.

I can't be mad if Penn St jumps us though. They straight up beat us on the field. If you want to overlook two losses and a weaker resume/sos because of the h2h and conference championship, I can see that argument.

Both teams are 12-1. If Ohio Staye wanted in they should have earned it on the field. Let's not pretend Ohio State didn't struggle. This isn't brand names and scheduling it's the best teams. And I do not think Ohio State is one of them. If they back in the playoffs because of politics.
