One would think he would have been the first one in line at the polls. I think he is just another America hater. They seem to be everywhere lately.

Not sure you can call him an America hater when in many other countries, he wouldn't be allowed to do what he did...I just think he seems to be morally confused/ungrateful for the extraordinary position he happens to be in and decided to use it for some idiotic agenda he obviously doesn't even understand himself since he didn't vote...

I saw it, just shows what a joke the guy is and the BS protests he started...Can't complain if you don't do your duty to bring about the change you want...a.k.a. voting

Being realistic, I'm sure his choice between the two would've been Hillary. She was a forgone conclusion to win California, no way Trump was winning that state. With the electoral college in place, his vote wasn't needed, so no need to get mobbed in public.

I find it hard to believe that Colon Kapernick even understands what the Electoral College even stands for!

The bigger his afro gets, the more brain cells he probably loses.

Dumber than a bag of hammers. His reasoning for his "protest" makes little sense in light of today's protests.

Let's REALLY think about this for a second...This A-Hole pretty much ruined the NFL's ratings with his BS and yet he doesn't even seem to believe what he claimed to stand for...Disgraceful...

This vote was about black lives matter? I must have missed that somehow.

This vote was whether you wanted more of standard politicians (Hillary) or a complete wildcard outsider that didn't run on any policy other than zenophobia and attacking his opponent. Hillary is probably more supportive of black lives matter, but not any more than Obama for sure. Regardless of his vote, his state was going to Hillary. That allowed him to try to take the supposed "higher ground" of saying he didn't like any of the candidates, without risk of his state supporting the worst candidate for his stand. That is definitely a bullshit move, just like all those people who voted for a third party candidate that had no prayer of winning, just so they could avoid making the real choice. All of the "battleground" states that Hillary lost had the third party candidate getting more votes than Hillary lost that state by. She got "Nader-ed".

Is that what the hell is he's protesting about??? I'm not even sure/don't care anymore...

It's easy to blame the third party candidates for her loss, but who says those voters would've voted for her??? I also don't buy that argument about Hillary winning Cali anyway, so why vote...I live in NY, Hillary was winning this state no matter what. Should I have not voted because she was going to win here anyway? Of course not, I still went out and did my part...

That's not what he's saying....

49ers’ Colin Kaepernick says voting would be hypocritical

No, in the battle ground states Hillary had poor Dem turnouts compared to the last two elections. If she got close to Obama's turnout, she wins more than enough swing states to get elected.

I didn't bother voting for that very reason. The state always carries democratic, which is typically where I vote.

She was never going to get Obama's turnout. You have to look back farther for your comparison numbers. A young black candidate is not close to being a good comparison for a 70 year old white woman who is a career politician.
