He was all over the field in the OSU game. Honestly I like the backup even more than Cichy as crazy as that sounds. He came in for Orr at MLB and destroyed Lenard Fournette in the LSU game by himself multiple times. Edwards is another backup MLB but is an NFL level talent as well. I believe their will be no drop off from losing our 2 starting MLB's this season.

Wiscy went down for multiple reasons. West Virginia beat TCU by a larger margin than the Badgers did over Iowa and overall I believe TCU is slightly higher than Iowa. Also, OSU lost to Penn St. which makes the Badgers loss to them look bad. In reality they should've beat them by 3 scores but failed to convert in the redzone just like the Iowa game.

I'll have to watch one or both of those games again.

Good new for UW is they will finally have a good QB next year. Jack Coan is a 4 star recruit and most likely a top ten QB. In his highlights he showed great zip, accuracy, good deep pass. The thing that seperates him from all former UW HS recruits is he can run. He shows great pocket awareness, speed, power, acceleration and agility. He will easily be the starter next season.

The entire O-line and D-line will be returning next season. Clement will be lost but Shaw will be a solid upgrade over him at the RB position. We will lose one WR but some of the backups were higher rated recruits than Wheelright. We lose one CB in Shelton and one S in Musso. The secondary will replace them easily and will most likely be upgraded as well. Only LB lost will be Vince and his backup right now looks like an animal and has played better than Vince this year when starting.

This team will be much better on offense by at least 10+ PPG and the defense might improve but they really can't get much better than #1 which is what they were last season and will most likely be at the end of the year since they finally face easier opponents instead of a 5 top ten teams. Combine the best defense in the country with an improved running game, the best QB in UW history (recruited out of HS) I think it's championship or bust next year. Our B-ball team is championship or bust this season. We still have a chance to make the 4 team playoffs this season but our QB/QB's are so bad I just think they will end up losing the CCG with costly mistakes.

There are now three teams in the Big Ten who control their destiny for the conference title: Michigan, Wisconsin and, surprisingly, Minnesota. Ohio State needs Michigan to win its next two games or a Penn State loss for the Buckeyes to regain control of their destiny.

As much ragging on how bad we are I've done this season, he's not kidding. The necessary results overwhelmingly broke our way tonight (Iowa and Nebraska) to give us control of our own destiny in the West. We win out, we win the division--as Nebraska and Wisconsin are two of our final three games, and that's who we're tied with for the division lead.

I wasn't surprised. I don't know that we've had a competent passing QB in my lifetime. Even if we'd have pulled it out tonight and then beaten Northwestern next week, we still probably would have been ranked below a team like Boise St. because of how soft our schedule has been this season.

Only 4 of the last 12 have meetings have we kept it within 1 score, and not since 2009.
