On Tuesday the Cavs will be getting their Championship rings opening the season against the Knicks- while across the square the Indians will be opening up Game 1 of the World Series.

who do the Heat open up against?

you gotta be pulling for the Tribe over the Cubs or Dodgers--- as a yankee fan wouldnt u want to see Miller get a ring? He has been LIGHTS OUT. Hope the trade works out for the Yanks half as good as it has for hte Indians.

I'm actually pulling for the Cubs. If its Indians/Dodgers then yeah I would love to see the Indians win.

As for the Heat, I believe they open up in Orlando

Good thing DVRs exist.
I'm sure times are locked in and can't be altered because of national tv.
Tribe is playing great.
I'm hoping they play Cubs.

I didnt even know there were later starts.
It actually will make my life easier because its tough for me to get there most nights on time.

Yeah from what I heard Friday and Saturday home games will start at 8 PM now

ehhh its not like USC is any good anymore since Carroll and the bags of cash left....at least UCLA has cool uniforms- even if they dont play real football in the Pac 12 (?)

When Steve Alford was the HC @ N.M. he bitched every year that the MWC tourney is held in Vegas. So now he's the HC @ UCLA. Guess where the 12 Pac tourney his held. Yep, Vegas. @ Alford. He never did understand that the conference lost money each year the tourney wasn't in Lost Wages.

Pac 12 is down this year outside of U-Dub. Having said that, USC looks like they may be the 2nd best team in the Pac-12. But hey, they had their glory years at least.

I had to laugh last year when everyone was saying it was the new "best" conference in college football. How long did that last again?

Yeah I knew that was bull shit. Outside of Stanford, defense is anemic in that conference. I'd say the Big 10 is the best conference this year. Everyone likes to mention that the SEC is the best, but outside of Bama, that conference has done very little; particularly the SEC East where some scrub team's going to get gang raped by Bama in the SEC title game. But yeah, give me their top 3 of Ohio St., Michigan, and Wisconsin over any other conference's top 3.

The SEC's down as far as what I would consider to be legitimate contenders this year, but the overall depth is probably still the best. I'm with you on the Big 10's Big 3 though, best in college football.
