I've done it for many others as well.

Either some people around here are annoying goody two shoes and never did anything when young, or they seem to forget what it's like to be that age.

Personally, I fucked up often and feel I'm lucky to only get caught the few times I did.

I fucked up as well, but I believe that if you screw up, you should be punished.

I don't know about Alabama, but in Michigan, the driver of the car is responsible for everything that happens in their car. So if someone has drugs, driving without a seat belt, having a wanted felon. The driver is responsible for it.

Yeah, people smoking pot at 2am in a parking lot are a real problem in society. I can't believe it's not an issue being brought up in the presidential debates.

Doesn't make it any less illegal. Just like the stupid rule that's got half the FCS team suspended for the Florida State game. I don't agree with it but if you are dumb enough to get caught, take your punishment.

My opinion on weed is the same as prostitution. Legalize it, regulate it, tax the living shit out of it. It isn't going to effect me one way or another except maybe we get better roads and school systems.

It's the only way Uncle Sam will legalize it is if they get their cut. If it helps us get better roads, school systems, public services at other people's expense by their choice I'm all for it. It's a brand new revenue stream and will not cause an increase in taxes to pay for other public goods. Michigan went smoke free at all restaurants. I felt they should just did a tobacco license, like a liquor license. Have a third the amount of liquor licenses and charge twice as much.

I understand the reality of it, and I'd rather it be legal and taxed than illegal(because I still won't pay taxes on it), but it kind of irks me that people think these things can/should be taxed just because. Taxes should have good reason to exist.

If you are going to be taxing cigarettes, alcohol, and gasoline why wouldn't you tax weed? I would much rather have the State be smart with the money and not reward departments for going over budget and punish those going under budget, taking higher bids because they pay bigger kickbacks, but that isn't going to change anytime soon. If the money was spent wisely and goes to the proper areas, why not tax it?

If you don't have a car, you don't use gas, and you don't pay for the roads. It's about the most perfect example you can have of how taxes should work. Of course some states have started taking that money and using it for other stuff, but that's another topic.

In Alabama open carry is legal without a permit. It's not a smart thing to do and actually pretty dangerous.
