No break on a throw like that... He looked right at the 49r he was throwing it too... He's gotta make better decisions than that...

Oh I know, but I doubt he's going to be getting a lot a playing time anyway. Russ will be back next game.

Team did everything they set out to do. Got the running game going. Got Graham involved which puts the rest of the D's they will face on notice. Moved the ball at will most of the day. Defense was stout until the game was well in hand.

Outside of Wilson's scare on his knee, there's not much even the most negative hawks fan can bitch about.

well they beat a team they SHOULD beat and at home it shouldn't have ever been in doubt and it really never was. Happy about the win but man oh man we need a healthy Wilson. Hopefully it's just a mild tweaking that doesn't linger.

I'm guessing after they fire Bevell they should release Bennett too huh? :rolleyes2:

Trade him for a LT with some skill. Avril is the better Rusher from the outside anyway :). Get something for a headache and declining skill set before he has zero value :P

Too bad the real NFL isn't Madden.

Outside rushers that push QBs in to the pocket are on almost every team. Guys like Bennett who are disruptive on the interior and intercept that outside pressure are very rare.

And that's just part of his game. Dude is versatile as hell and a great run defender on the edge. Unless, of course, you judge him based on a single poor play.

So, I'm on the bus and heading back home from the game. I'm not going to read every post in this thread but I'm surprised with some of the negative comments I'm seeing. Here are two POSITIVE observations f4om my point of view:

1.) Jimmy Grahm is back, baby!!
2.) The Niners had ZERO third down conversions until mid way through the 4th quarter.

It was a very fun game to be part of.

Yeah. They were really begging for it by getting in the backfield at the snap on every play.

Maybe, just maybe the Seahawks executed better than they did the past two weeks. Naw, it's more likely they just changed their playbook.

Graham can be an asset if the protection is good, but if it's not, I still firmly think he's a liability.

They stacked the fucking box up front! What game were you watching? All they had to do was have him run some aggressive quick slants (like we've seen him do in NO for years) and they would have had to lay off. But we didn't, because "Hey, Jimmy Graham, the Pro Bowl TE who's made a living off of that route with another QB a little short of stature who's bound for Canton might tip it and turn the ball over". That's the dysfunction that's going on. You pay guys like Jimmy Graham the money you do because he's special. Take advantage of it. We did today.

You don't X-O Jimmy Graham. You realize what he brings to the table and then X-O around it. And he's the anti-Harvin. Shit luck since he's been here and all he wants is the opportunity to make a play. Feed him.

Fitzpatrick threw six picks for the Jets today. As much as the focus of next week's game will be on the Seahawks offense against New York's D, I think the Seahawks defense might have a chance to add to their turnover totals after finally getting on the board there this week.
