No fear. This doesn't help at all, and it would be nice for our #1 WR to be healthy all year. If he misses playing time it's time for Latimer to fleet up some of the depth to get more snaps.

I don't think this is anywhere near Bo Jackson type of hip injury. His season basically ended the minute it happened on the field.

It didn't really seem to hamper him much except on that one play. He came back in and looked ok to me. Weird that he's out getting a 2nd opinion.......kinda hoping it's in line with what Crash said.

In related (not really) Thomas injury news, Julius Thomas has an ankle sprain. I assume he rides the bench for the rest of the year because he is injured.

Good to hear today that he looks to be ok. Might be in pain part of the season but shouldn't keep him out of any games. Really need him all the more with our young QB's on the roster.

Did DT seek his own personal 2nd opinion after Greek said he was OK. Didn't that happen to JT a couple season ago. Medical staff misdiagnosed during the season and JT knew something wasn't right and they found the issue after the season. Didn't Al Wilson also have an issue with the medical staff ?

Al Wilson yes but I don't think JT had the same problem. He wanted them to keep him out of the game because he didn't want to risk a bigger injury and risk his big pay day. The trainers completely cleared him to play but he told the coaches he didn't feel right and sat. After the season he went and got checked out by other teams and they cleared him as well.

Honestly with DT this does seem to be a regular occurrence. Right after the game struggling to walk and then couple of days later looking just fine. There are some players that just don't handle the getting dinged up type plays as well as others.

Actually think that's true in DT's case. Think he just might be a tad bit soft when it comes to pain. That's why he's dropped a lot of balls. Not because he missed his Mom's, but because he really doesn't go for the hitting like most can handle. Think you can get in his head easy with some early big hits. Imo of course.

I respectfully disagree. DT is one of the more physical WRs and is respected around the league as one of the best blocking WRs in the NFL. How many games has he missed in his career? Not many. That doesn't sound like soft to me.
