I don't like this move for the Vikings at all. They have built themselves a damn good team through thoughtful scouting and drafting.

I don't think Sam Bradford moves the needle at all, and they gave up so much for him. You're Super Bowl chances all but disappeared with Teddy's ACL, why make the bad situation worse?

Really? He played relatively well last season and played in 14 games.
He was 7-6 as a starter last year i think?
Only throws down field on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Loves Red Zone turnovers
Poops on 3rd down.
Can't stay healthy.

Besides that he's awesome. You're right! What was i thinking?

We weren't going to get the 1st or second pick?

Do you even watch football?

So you're suggesting is a Super Bowl contending roster(without a QB) tanks away a season to draft a QB and start the couple year development over again?

Got some inside info that Andrew Luck 2.0 is gonna fall out of the top 10?

Jesus Christ you fucking drunk?
I'm saying Bradford doesn't make you any better than many available free options did. Also if you think Bradford makes the Vikes a SB team it's you who is drunk.

Well, I like the move but it was a steep price to pay when Philly wasn't exactly being flooded with offers for him. Good move for Philly to recoup a little of what they gave up in the trade for him from the Rams.

The Vikes overpaid but I don't think the Eagles were going to trade him for much less.

That Vikings roster is loaded and I don't waste a year of Peterson's career when he only has a couple left. Plus Bridgewater's injury might be a question mark for next yr too.
I'm higher than most on the trade but I'll admit it's a gamble. I just think the upside is worth it

He completed a career high 65% of his passes last season for another career high 266ypg, another career high 7ypa, threw 19 TD's (to 14 INT's, granted that's not good), and 2nd best Passer Rating of 86.

You think playing with a HOF RB like AP will help him? Oh, and having a stellar defense?

Yeah, he's set up to suck ass. :L

Bradford starting week 1. The desperation is real....

I would start Hill the first few games personally but do you think it's going to be real complicated?

Run AP left, run AP right, play action pass, run AP up the middle.

What a stupid move by the Vikings. Bradford's not worth a 1st rounder.

LOL I cannot believe Philly got a 1st rounder out of this deal... Vikes waaaaaay overpaid.

Should we start up an over/under pool for how long Bradford lasts before getting injured? I'm thinking 3 or 4 games

Well what I am reading is that they got a 1st round pick and a 4th round pick in the trade. I can't believe it. Is there a more overhyped QB in the league than Sam Bradford?

I don't think over hyped , a bit brittle though....Seems that when he is healthy, he's pretty good, but has he ever played a full season without missing time from injury ?
Probably best qb available and they must feel that Sam fits their system well or it wouldn't be news today....

Since DJ brought up Bradford's stats I may as well bring up a simple comparison. Keep in mind Bradford has to learn a playbook.

Where did I say Bradford makes them a Super Bowl team?

There's gotta be something off with you cognitively

The Eagles fleeced them. Bradford can't stay healthy and is a league average QB when he does play.

Any WCO should be complicated. If it isn't, you're dumbing down the route combinations and QB to the benefit of the defense.

jesus christ they could have gotten Kap for a second straight up...at least Kap has taken a team deep into the playoff's and almost won a SB...speaks volumes on how no GM wants anything to do with him.
