He had 2 opportunities to meltdown today - on the Martin Perez "Richter Scale" - and came through both of them with flying colors.

Perez did a nice job today. Avoided that "Perez inning" that we've come to expect. But I want to see him do well next week at Seattle before we annoint him a playoff starter.
