Great example why Lebron will never reach Michael Jordan status

No point arguing with him. He's the boards biggest troll and a ridiculous cavs homer. Nobody takes him seriously on these boards.

It is entertaining. I actually really like LeBron. After watching him all these years and having the chance to watch Jordan as well. They are entirely different players and while LeBron will go go down as one of the top 5-10 players of all-time -- he will never reach MJ status, imo

Lebron will never hit the top 3 (MJ, Magic, Kareem). Fourth or fifth is possible but not probably.

As far as bigger, stronger, faster. This isn't the NFL. NBA players can only put on so much muscle and can only grow so big. That is what makes LeBron so good, because he combines the size and athleticism. That isn't the norm.

If you took the starting 5 for the 90's against the starting 5 from the 2010's. It isn't as if you are going to be looking at 6'7" Centers in the 90's. Or 6' SG.

What has changed is the rules and how the game is called by the refs. They want a faster paced league to keep fans entertained. Fundamentals are not stressed in today's game and half court offenses have been replaced by quicker paced offense who attack before teams can get set.

Pace is actually far slower today than it was in the the 80s. Your precious 90s was like the "dead ball era". He quality of play was actually quite miserable.

Jordan went to the free throw line more because he drove to the basket more. If LeBron could shake a defender off the dribble, he'd do the same.

It is why the Pistons went to physically assaulting Jordan, because it was next to impossible from stopping him from getting to the rim. If you look at anyone who can put the ball on the floor and get to the basket, you will find the guys taking the most free throws.

LOL.

Guys attack the rim just as much today as they did in the 90s. More 3s does not equal more jumpshots. You are making some poor assumptions there. Players do take their jumpshots from further out, but that does not mean they shoot more of them.

FTs are down despite a faster pace because officials call fewer fouls. You assumptions are incorrect.

Yeah, wasn't all that keen on MJ either(mostly because of all the travels he'd get away with lol), but yeah, them's some HUGE shoes to fill...

Quit embarrassing yourself. LeBron's OWN TEAM had Kyrie Irvin taking the shot with under a minute to go in game 7 of the NBA finals. End of story.

I just posted you Lebron's highlights too. Have you noticed yet that taking players off the dribble is few and far between? He uses his strength in the post to back guys down. He is a freight train on fast breaks. He lacks the handles and ISO moves to be relied on with the game on the line. His best move is a jab step and fade away jumper.

Hell. There is an article today where LeBron states how he is trying to get to MJ's level of greatness. Maybe you know better than LeBron though. :L

I guess you never noticed who hit the last 2 3's to even get to that point

All-Time #NBArank: LeBron James at No. 3

By the way as for Irving taking the last shot Kerr says hi...

You mean the one with 5:00 to go and the other one in the 3rd quarter? Just stop. It makes sense the Cavs went to Kyrie. LeBron had missed from 22 feet, missed from 15 feet and missed from 5 feet after his made 3.

I've seen some slappies before, but you my friend, take the cake. Yikes.

Not surprised to see our number #1 Cavs fan telling how amazeballs Lebron is after telling us last week how amazeballs Irving is.

Anyway, if Lebron goes to 3 or 4 more finals and wins 2 or 3, he most certainly would be in the conversation.

I must have missed where Steve Kerr took the game winning shot in game 7 of the NBA finals? Jordan wouldn't even let him take it in a game 6.

Did jordan ever lead his team and the opponents team in points, rebounds, steals, assists and blocks in a finals?

27 Pts, 11 Reb, 11 Ast and the championship, and lebron scored the last point...discuss why that upsets you

No clue? I do know, like James, he has never made a game 7 shot in the final minute. That is what happens when you go 6-0 in the NBA finals and none of those series reaches 7 games. :pound:

Upset me? Why would it upset me? I just made this post to point out the intangible LeBron lacks.
