Micky always does that. He did the same last year. Nothing new. Miami offered him all they had left. Can't offer him money they don't have
just to be clear- teams do it all the time....offer money they dont have- and then make moves to clear it...just saying. It was even part of your plan if you got Durant....dont claim that its not possible- they just didnt want to do it for Wade--- which is obviously their chocie.

I thought he'd leave for like 3 years $70 mil or something along those lines. That deal he's getting is weak for why he's leaving. He wants to stick it to Riley.

Oh well, we have our flexibility.
does it all worry you that the 2 players most responsible for the Heats 3 titles both felt it necessary to "stick it" to Riley on their way out the door?

thats not a good sign.

Not a bad trade for the Lakers tbh, gives them a veteran PG who can help Russell and Clarkson. And he'll be off the books next year just in case a certain bruin in Oklahoma wants to join the team. I think he's only got one year left, if not then this is way off.

Did they give up anything more than some basketballs and a towel?

Now, Lou Williams be the backup SG (thought we needed one) and Calderon and Huertas fighting it out to tbe the backup PG. Wouldn't surprise me if Huertas won the job since I have a sinking feeling Caldy (yep, already got a nickname for him) is done.

No one was taking McRoberts without us giving up a 1st rounder and/or Winslow.

If Durant comes, Miami moves Winslow, Dragic, and McRoberts in a package deal for returning next to nothing to allow room for Wade and Durant to sign.

I know u are telling me. Im up, I'm down and I'm up and Im down and now I'm in the middle.

You should be down. Getting Wade is good and all, but how's that offense going to move. You also just made your competition in the Cavs better by giving them Dunleavy for what seems to be next to nothing in return. Why?

Wonder what they're sending back.
nothing im assuming...just sending him into our trade exception i would assume, i dont even know what they would ahve to trade for a contract like dunleavys....

im a little nervous- i thought wed save the trade exception until the trade deadline and get a vet that a team out of contention didnt want to play that was more defensive oriented....i still think the Cavs need to get a wing that can guard.

It's funny dan gilbert turned out to be the good guy and pat riley turned out to be the scumbag, the whole loyalty thing he always preaches and wade signing for less to help was thrown out the window

He's too stupid to realize that it is much easier to move McRoberts packaged with Dragic which would have been the case for Durant compared to needing to move McRoberts solo to accommodate Wade

Lebron's in Wade's ear a lot, I'm sure that got to him. Lebron had his own motive and handcuffed the Heat in free agency two years ago. I'm not worried about it at all quite honestly. Time to move on to a different era.

Here is a weird question how do the Cavs clear space. Does that mean JR Smith is bye bye. If so then its not a smart move by the Cavs.

Well they sent Dunleavy and the Cavs used part if their trade exception. His contract is 4.8 mil so the Cavs still have 4.8 left on it

No fucking sense of loyalty among these Heat fans.

If Kobe asked for so much that you couldn't get Deng, would you still pay him?
