I was going to wait until the end of the finals but this is a pretty big story so I thought why the hell not?

No deal. Can't give up Lavine and the 5 pick.

At least wait to see if Murray is available

You're crazy. I'd give up Lavine and the 5 pick for Butler all day. Chicago, on the other hand, would be like "Is that all you got?"

Not a shot. Especially since they will keep trying to ask for gorgui.

Team isn't ready yet. Lavine in 3 years or Jimmy at 30? Murray is a potential superstar. Give me those two as youngsters in 3 years.

I'm a massive Jimmy guy too.

Celtics would top that with the #3 and a throw in.

I'd honestly do Lavine, Dieng and the #5 for Butler if I was Minnesota. With the way the cap is going to go up, Butler at 19 million a year is going to be a steal. He's basically a max player making two thirds of what other max players will be making. And he'll only be 27 at the start of next season.

What's the better lineup: Rubio, Butler, Wiggins or Rubio, Lavine Wiggins? I'm also not as high on Murray as you are so I don't value that pick as much if he does slip to #5.

The issue is...you just trying to make the playoffs next year then yeah. But towns and Wiggins in 3 years is what's insane potential. I'd rather have a 24 year old Lavine and 22 Murray than Butler at 30.

I'm a big butler homer and I'm not selling the farm for him. Things are in place already. And Murray is the stud of the draft outside the 2 who have to go top 2

30 isn't old. Lavine will be hitting his absolute best scenario if he tops out as a player as good as Butler is now. But there's just as good a chance, maybe moreso, than he's nothing more than a tweener guard that can dunk and give occasional scoring. Take the sure thing. And I wouldn't want any draft pick lower than 3 in this year's draft. I mean, I'd take it but it has lower value this year than most because this a weak draft. It's likely Murray won't be there anyway.

Rubio, Butler, Wiggins, and Towns is a massively good defensive team with offensive talent to boot. You do that deal all day because you're gaining a known commodity.

I didn't see how it ended. But Lavine was averaging 19-20 a game as a starter as of like early March. There is too much upside there if they want a top 5 pick and guy like Gorgui

Minny could offer the #5 and the entire Timberwolves team (apart from Wiggins and KAT) and the Bulls would still get ripped off in that trade

Well Lavine is only 20 and has a great athletic ability, which could translate into being better on defense but with Wiggins being young you need a lockdown defender and that's what Butler brings along with a very improved offensive game as well. Lavine shot 38% from 3 which is promising. But I think if Murray is there, that would be huge for the Bulls bc that is a guy that can shoot the 3 and could become a very good to great player in this league.

I'm on the fence with this one. The T-wolves have a good amount of young talent that they're starting to stock pile, with a couple years of maturation, they could definitely make some noise. That will be compounded if they nail the no. 5 pick. At this point, I'd probably stand pat if the Bulls want more than the no. 5 pick.

Talk of Bulls and Minn making a trade. Nothing close just a lot of Rumors
Butler for Wiggins and the #5 pick.

As a bulls fan if they want to break up Rose and Butler I would trade Rose but Butler has the most trade value. I don't mind this trade because he is about 2 years away from being a super star(low end super star) and the #5 pick can bring in another young piece to this team and u start rebuilding with Wiggins, #5 pick, and the other young players they have. U try and Trade Rose mid season to get more pieces. The following year Bulls would have a lot of money to add 2 max players to this roster.

Just my opinion. Will it happen no clue. Fun to talk about it.

This is the other rumor I would do. Lavine and Dieng and #5 for Butler and I will throw in Snell. Bulls rebuild and next year they will have enough money for 2 Max players.

Im a Bulls fan why not. We need to start over. Butler hit his max. He is a Top 20 player and Top 5 2 way player. Im ok with starting over. Im a Big Jimmy also but its time to really break this team up. Im also a fan of trading rose if we got the #5 pick because we draft Dunn then.
