It's also rumored that he didnt interview. It was also rumored that Gundy was going to Arkansas. I believe the sources I read that said the rumors about him interviewing with tennessee are completely erroneous.

I don't think anyone here is claiming to be in the know. Just a rumor we heard and an opportunity to bump this thread and wish ill will on UNCheat.

I dont think fedora goes to tennessee. Dave hart seems to not have his shit together at all through all of this. I dont think Fedora would be better off at UT anyways. He doesnt have to do that well at UNC to stay the coach. Their man concern is basketball, and football doing well is just icing on the cake.
At Tennessee, the expectations are very high and the leash is very short.

He didnt meet Clemsons academic requirements even after going to Valdosta? He didn't meet Carolina's standards out of high school either

Not unless the university lied about it :popsnoidea:

North Carolina Tar Heels' investigation reveals academic scandal within African-American studies department - ESPN

"This was not an athletic scandal," former North Carolina governor Jim Martin told UNC's Board of Trustees. "It was an academic scandal, which is worse."

So I guess rather than penalize the athletic programs involved, UNC will just shut down the academic department responsible for these imaginary courses, so these academic fraud doesn't happen again. Genius!

What they should do is not let Julius Nyangoro or whatever actually "retire". There really isn't any reason for the athletic department to be penalized for something a chairman of the academic department created.

when 95% of the students in that 'academic scandal' are athletes, are you that dense to think it's not an athletic issue?

They did a good job of containment on this one, didn't they? This is what happens when you look for the answer with the smallest repercussion, rather than the truth.

Ironic that they want to call it an academic problem, and not an athletic department problem. Again, focused only on the repercussions to their football program.

Good point, but it's ironic that they are willing to take the hit on the academic side.

Again, containment. Blame it on one rogue professor.

Would this count as an improper benefit? Giving players jewelery since they aren't actual championship rings?
