"College textbooks are written at the ninth-grade level, so we are putting these elite athletes into classes where they can't understand the textbooks." If you can't read at a ninth-grade level, you have no business being in high school, much less college. This is really a public school issue even more than a college issue. Not that it shouldn't be addressed at both levels.

But its not happening anywhere, its happening at UNC! I think a lot of Hokie fans are getting satisfaction out of all this academic scandal because of what some of UNC's administrators said when VT got into the ACC....mainly Sue Estroff.
