Then I'd suggest your reading comprehension needs some work, especially since I quoted the start of the conversation above.

Lol, I like how your quote from me mentions Mississippi exactly 0 times...yet 4down has the reading comprehension problem.

I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of you throwing Ole Miss under the bus for recruiting violations with circumstantial evidence at best, at the time, when your own school had been found guilty of those very same practices.

Lol, so Michigan boosters only cheat in basketball...good to know. Don't believe it for a second, but good to know.
I can tell you this, I don't think our coach is paying the bills of any recruit's parents. I think it's impossible to control the actions of every booster out there and expect 100% compliance. I'm sure our players go to certain places and get perks under the table. I don't think our athletic department is simply handing cash to kids when they need it. And the basketball violation you referenced was with one booster and one player.

Just got an ESPN notification that Ole has self imposed a double digit scholarship reduction in light of the NCAA's NOA. Didn't really see much online yet but I imagine we will be soon.

Loaner cars, improper benefits from boosters, fudging ACT scores, cover-ups. They fucked.
No doubt. Couldn't have picked a better time to come out with this though so they can say, "hey. We aren't as bad as Baylor at least. " Still. This is pretty bad though.

No he just gives them all jobs because they are the most qualified for any position at UM.

Which is not a violation of NCAA rules.

If the NCAA wants to truly screw them just suggest they fire Freeze and allow anyone on the team to transfer immediately with no wait period.

They might not field a team.

Hugh Freeze had absolutely no idea any of his players, recruits or coaches were involved in this. Only time I read Freeze's name is saying he was the coach. He can't control what assistant coaches, school officials or boosters are doing.

Fire the coaches involved and move along. :)

You do realize that would fall under lack of institutional control right?

I really believe you just started watching football this past season.

I'm not sure he's even watched any this year. Probably been balls deep in the "T-Ball coaching for Dummies", book.

I don't see how the NCAA allows just this to be the punishment.
