Hoke's 1st year @ meeeechegan > Saban's 1st year @ Michigan State

So that means...Hoke > Saban!

Well when Saban retires, we'll have to hire Hoke. With all the extra "SEC Advantages" we'll win 5 national championships in a row for sure. He'll be the best "SEC Coach" ever!

My very unreliable sources have told me Jimmy Jam will replace Saban when he's ready to retire.:gaah:

I'm still waiting for you to explain how the SEC banning camps for themselves prevented everyone else from doing it, and how the sudden no change in the rules means the SEC is now screwed over while it wasn't before.

The only thing the NCAA ban and unban did was...allow SEC teams to do it. No change for anyone else, it just unbanned the SEC/ACC.

Just so I understand you. You think, now that they have lifted the ban, you think the list of teams who will do the camps consist of the SEC and Michigan, while the handful who did 1 or 2 will only do 1 or 2 still? :L

While it sounds great for SEC fans -- it isn't reality. If the SEC coaches start doing camps in Texas, California, Florida. Coaches from outside the SEC in those states are going to do the same thing right back in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, etc.

No coach is going to sit back and say -- well, I sure hope Coach Saban had a great time hosting a camp in our backyard. They are going to go and do the exact same thing. This is why the SEC wanted nothing to do with the camps. They already have the best recruiting footprint by a landslide in the SEC. With their coaches going out and doing the camps -- it is doing nothing more than giving any school to come and do the same.

I'll say it one more time:

The only thing that changed is: The SEC and ACC are allowed to do it. Nothing else is different from previous years. The only real ban that was lifted this year was that.

So the way you are making it sound is they will be "revenge camps".

Glad this is all about the kids finally

Yeah because that's what these things have changed, suddenly coaches are able to contact recruits in areas they couldn't before!

What happened to the camps being for the kids? Did that suddenly change? Isn't it funny how fast the truth about abusing the camps came out

Absolutely there will be. And not once have you heard me say it was about the kids. I said from the get go it was about recruiting and building relationships with high school coaches and programs in hot bed recruiting areas.

If the SEC hits up an area, without a doubt coaches from that area will do the same in return.

Put it like this -- do you honestly think if say Bama does a camp in Ohio, that Urban Meyer isnt going to do the exact same thing in return?

Nope -- you still don't get it.

My guess is you will once it is announced where SEC teams are holding camps, because any school in those areas will be returning the favor.

And before you say -- they are going to go where the 4 and 5 star recruits are. Think real hard and guess where that is? (hint -- 77% of 5 star recruits, 56% of the top 1000 players over the last 5 years)

No conference has more to lose from satellite camps than the SEC and it isn't even close. The next closest is the other conference who filed a proposal to ban the camps.
Basically you're saying the only way Michigan has a chance is by cheating or abusing the system. I'm going to lmao when the sanctions hit :laugh3:

I'll be sure to find you when it is time for my "I told you so" post.

There is no chance this doesn't become a free for all and no chance coaches are going to sit back and watch others coaches go into their backyard and not return the favor.

It is funny how you can't see that they are changing and believe if the SEC floods say California with camps, that California schools won't do the same to the SEC.

Well to be fair Jimbo is also in hot water. He's sitting in a hot tub as we speak w/ potential future recruits. He really is 1 creepy son of a bitch.

So they should sit back and let the SEC coaches host camps with their top recruits, but it'd be dumb if they returned the favor? Does that makes sense to you?
