Same as Peyton, Osweiler can give Denvers defense much credit for that 5-2 record. I'd like to see Fitzpatrick in Denver and have 100% trust in Elway keeping us competitive next season.

I think Osweiler is better than people are giving him credit in this thread but...wow...lots of money.

This is typical Elway, though, right? Don't overpay the average player in hopes of landing a better one. I just figured QB might be different.

I dont get why Brock is leaving. makes no sense.

Well maybe him playing well and then getting benched for Manning and his sub par play had something to do with it.

The thing is, no one really knows how good Osweiler is. He showed some nice flashes, but there were also some serious red flags. He may turn out to be really good. He may just be a guy. But that's a lot of money for a guy with so little game experience.

I am glad the Texans decided to role the dice for him. What an amazing pickup.... Looks like they are trying to return to being the cellar dwellers of the worst division. You have to applaud that much dedication.

4 years, $72 millin, $37 million guaranteed. Yep, Houston can have him at that price.

This is still a fair deal, much better than committing over 100 million to a guy there are still questions on.

Even trade off now right?? You guys get Osweiler and we get Kubiak.

Kubiak, who only needed one year out of Houston to become a Super Bowl winning head coach.

I'd agree with that. The Texans looked so laughably bad at QB against the Chiefs in the playoffs that its not too surprising to see this move, though.

I'm not sure committing $72 million to a guy there are still questions on is very smart, either.

This is a BAD deal. Im shocked that a QB that played 7 games got this much. Then Houston signs Miller at RB. LOL Houston is going all in. I dont think it will help them.

I am just saying, at the current going rate where guys like cutler get 126 million and kap got over 100, its decent to not be stuck with dead money for the last 3 years.
