I think the over investment was a large part of it. I don't think Elway was interested in paying Osweiler a lot based on just 7 games.

Brock leaving is not what I would like but I would rather not overpay for someone either.

Houston really had little choice to roll the dice...They werent in position to draft one of the big 3 QB's this draft, so its a boom or bust move........He reminds me too much of Ryan Mallet
