I still have the Rolax you sold me sure it's real? it has a sweeper hand but I can't put my finger on it.

I got a fake Rolex from a lady that visited Thailand. It's so perfect that a jeweler I took it too to get the battery changed wouldn't open it for fear of wrecking it accidentally. Even when I told him it was fake he didn't believe me. Crazy how good the forger's are getting.

The more I think about this game the more of a bad feeling I get about Denver's chances. I just don't see how they can keep up with Carolina. I'm sure Denver's Defense will stop Carolina a few times but they can't hold them all game. I don't see the Offense keeping up their side of things and in the end their lack of execution will kill them.

I'm getting the same vibe I did before the Seahawks game and we all know how that turned out.

I keep going back and forth on how I feel about this game. When I read all these articles about how the team so badly wants to win for Bowlen, Manning, and Ware it makes me think they have the emotional advantage in this one. I also think they are going to have a very pro-Broncos crowd at the game. From what I have been watching and reading they don't expect a ton of actual Panthers fans at the game. So nice advantage for the Broncos if that is the case. At the same time like you said just the balance of the Panthers and what that offense can do to even a good defense like the Seahawks and Cardinals leaves me wondering how we do this.

To me if we can make it through the 1st half of the game still within 7 points I am going to really like our chances. 1) Panthers have not been great in more than a few games in the 2nd half. They have let off the gas in quite a few games and I think that could come back to bite them when they need to show up in the 2nd half of a close game. 2) I think the longer the Broncos can stay in it the more they will believe as a team that can actually go out and win it.

Head or Heart?

My head is full of all the non-stop breakdowns on these two teams and it's screaming about all the reasons the Panthers win the game.

My (homer) heart says the Broncos have more to play for and will find a way as they've done all year. In Superbowl XXXII, the Packers were favored over the Broncos by 11 points. The heart of that Broncos team came through and won one for "John".

Okay, I'm going with my heart!

Family and some close friends, doubt anyone will be sober, start drinking early and stop around game time in order to be in shape for work Monday! :D
I agree with others on the thread, fuck the chicken wings; we usually cook up a roast beef in the oven, let cool, and slice thinly for great sandwiches or grill some super burgers. Plus all the other crap like nachos and that stuff.

Is it the same vibe you got before the Pats game? :suds:

SportsHoopla Broncs fans are tops plus, my aunt lives in Denver so I'd like to see Peyton get another. It'll take the cats getting a little stiff. Too bad they aren't undefeated.

I'm pretty sure that @Duffman predicted Denver losses to both Pittsburgh and NE.

Actually I thought we would beat Pittsburgh, I still had a bad feeling that we'd play like we did in that last game against SD(which we did) instead of when we faced GB(which we haven't played like since that game although last week was the closest.) That GB game the team played great for entire 4 quarters, the NE game comes close but it doesn't match it because the Defense almost gave it away at the end letting NE back into the game and the Offense once again stalled for what seemed like the entire 2nd half outside of a few plays.

I just predicted a flat out loss to NE like I am doing against CAR. I just don't see us being able to contain the Panthers Offense longer than the first 2 quarters and the Offense wont be able to keep up.

Denver gave up two TDs to NE. The first was on a short field after the fumbled lateral to Hillman, which was so close to being a forward pass that it was ruled an incomplete pass on the field, only to be overturned on replay. The second was the late TD to Gronk, which could easily been called an OPI for a push off by Gronk. So, while we did give up 18 points to NE, a team that averaged only two fewer points per game scored than Carolina, it could easily have been only six points. I'm not saying that we will shutdown the Panthers offense, but I certainly think that that is possible.

I recently read that we have won nine games, including the playoffs, by seven or fewer points this season, which is an NFL record. I know that it makes watching the games nerve wracking, and it's easy to get down on the team, particularly when you're used to seeing as many blowout wins as we have in the previous three seasons. At the same time, I think that so many narrow wins has built a lot of mental toughness in our team.
