You're always invited to keep Vice on his toes.

I had to get thru a Week in Cleveland somehow, someway.

Bruce hasn't slimmed down any....

Avila surely stated he'd seen pics of Rondon and that he looked as if he was in shape. allegedly. HE's not in shape and maturity issues still come to the forefront.

Didn't he miss an entire season?

Or can we not go back all the way to last year? (They rested him because injuries are a concern already. Hard not to be when a guy has been on the DL more than he's active the last two years.)

Iggy's late season injury in 2015 was because he was hit on the hand with a pitch. It had ZERO to do with his shin fractures that kept him out all of 2014. It was a freak thing, not something that happened because he is "injury-prone".

They didn't bother to bring him back and risk re-injury because the team was 25 games out of first place. Duh.

Smitty doesn't like Iglesias... he has trashed him many times on this site. The fact that he is easily one of the best SS in the league doesn't matter to him.. he would rather see him traded so a weaker hitting version of him in machado can play the position.

I know. Anyone can have an opinion, and Smitty is perhaps justified in thinking Iggy is an injury risk. All I'm saying is don't use last season's hand injury as an example. That was a freak thing that happens in baseball, and there was nothing to be gained by bringing him back for the last 2 or 3 weeks of the season. In fact, it worked out well to just leave him on the DL, because the Tigers got an extended look at Machado.

And the look that Machado gave them shows he is a backup SS at best.

Don't make me use the search function.. I can 100% guarantee I can find posts you had where you said you wanted him traded and replaced with Machado.
Start sleuthing Crockett.

(Did I read earlier that you have Machado pegged as a backup? Isn't he too young to give up on? Or have I been led astray by misinformation on the age/Tigers prospects front?)
