Mets ownership/management is an embarrassment. Haven't read any of the local tabloids yet, but hopefully they are up in arms. If so, it might force the cheap bastahds to do something.

And btw, I forgot to mention the medical/training staff. How this bunch of bunglers are still employed is beyond me.

I have never had a problem with overpaying a bit for players I like, and as such, usually don't mind as much if the offer gets rejected. It's more of a crapshoot on my part. But what pisses me off is when someone mistakes my strategy for ignorance and decides to negotiate to wheedle more outta me. Then they want to know why I cancelled the original offer. Shoulda stopped tryin' to be AJ Preller and taken it, bub.
