Drugged out owners don't impact the game. Bounties, roiding, and modifying equipment after it's been checked do. 4 games is right, same as a positive PED test.

They don't impact the game, but they definitely reflect negatively on The Shield! It's bad PR for the league. Just like Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson. This isn't hard to figure out.

I'll let you hunt out the operative word in the first sentence, and then ask you if Kraft is going to pay the fine out of his own account, or the Patriot's operating account.

Irsay and Kraft both have bottomless accounts to draw from. It doesn't matter specifically which account they draw from, does it? The owners pay the fines in both cases.

How you holding up, Rock? Don't take nay crap off these guys. You are a CBS-trained troll. Show em your skills. This place is lik romper room compared to CBS.

I've not been overly impressed with CBS-style trolling.

Saying stupid shit when you don't mean/believe it just to get reactions doesn't impress me. To me, great trolling is finding a supportable position and driving someone nuts with actual information.

One of my favorites used to be to tell Phillies fans that Adam Dunn was the white Ryan Howard. Phils fans would loose their shit over that, but when you laid the career stats out, there was little difference, one had a little more power, one had a little more patience. Hardly any difference at all other than one was more likely to steal your bike. That's trolling.

You are only half right. Making people lose their shit is the goal. How you get there is unimportant. Rock and Chapee have been making you people lose your shit since the penalties were first announced.

Thank God there will always be the Atlanta cheating to put everything in prospective.

They actively cheated (pumping in fake noise) in every home game for 2 years. But the story itself barley ever existed. I'm not sure it even happened when compared to the galactic outrage of the claim the Pats deflated balls in 1 game.

Thanks to Atlanta, I know i'm not going crazy and that agenda is the fuel that drive the Pats story and not the alleged cheating in 1 game.

I thought that 500k was the max fine that the league could impose. This 1MM fine may be two 500k fines adding up to the total of the 1MM.

I could be wrong though.

I read that, too, somewhere along the way. But I guess they can get around that by assessing as many $500K fines as they want.

We're talking about driving traffic, not ratios.

Actually, I think that you get more eyeballs with a piece bashing the Pats than you would by defending them. The angry masses love their fuel. But maybe that is not the case.

you missed the first point, but as for your post, it makes a big difference. For starters if Kraft pays out of the Patriot account, it's a business expenditure. And if the Pats were to somehow lose value, that cool million goes towards the bottom line and some sweet tax write offs. Not so if Kraft writes a personal check.
