I think the prosecutor did overreach in going after murder 1 given the evidence he had available. The trial is going to be a media circus and the DA and his team are going to end up looking like Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden if they don't come up with something.Seems to me that the prosecution might have overreached in charging AH as guy who actually committed the murder. I don't know the law well enough, but perhaps they'd have a stronger case if they would have charged all three of the suspects with something like conspiracy to commit murder. Could that also have led one or two of the guys to come up with some more incriminating evidence against the one who actually pulled the trigger (e.g., where the gun is)?
Just speculating, but I wonder if a prosecutor too eager to make a name for himself in a high profile murder case might have made a mistake in charging AH as the killer.
