Maybe we should try bringing up Jean Sebastien Dea, not saying he'll fill in the Dup role, but maybe he could fill in Bennett's role and Bennett could try filling in for Dup :noidea:

Really can't see them making any moves until after the new year for winger, too many teams still in the race right now.

Bennett will have to be Dup then.

Poor Dup...gets a good contract and now is cursed after being healthy his entire career. Get better Duper.

The way Bennett played against the Habs, I could see him playing on the 2nd line. Dea has more points but Megna has more goals and a better +/-, but either one would do just fine on the third line.

Doob's take: top 2 teams in the Metropolitan Division, both teams coming off huge wins against 2 of the top teams in the NHL. Should be a great home & home set. Let's hope MAF could get win #300. Doob picks the Pens to win 4-3.

Ever since the melt down game on the Isle, I have a bad feeling every time we play them.

I'm more concerned about a letdown game since the Dupuis news broke. Although, another long-term debilitating injury to this team should just be another day at the office :tsk:

I have confidence, though. I think guys like Downie and Comeau help to put the snarl back in their bench and they get the other guys going. That has been something that has been lacking ever since Cookie left two seasons ago.

Plus those two guys have simply played good hockey so far this season, which is nice. They've been mean and tough to play against without crossing the line or doing something stupid.

Agreed

Downie: 3G-6A-9P+5 60PIM

Comeau: 4G-5A-9P+3 16PIM

76 penalty minutes between the two of them. And they are tough to play against. Not because of the their scoring ability, which they've actually chipped in, but because they come after the opponents talent the way teams come after Geno and Sid. Johnston is fighting fire with fire, and it seems to be working.

Cooke could play good hockey, but every once in a while he would do something totally stupid. I was worried about Downie at first, but he looks like he has it under control now.

IMO, even if every once in a while Downie does something totally stupid its worth it. Assuming we aren't talking about a huge suspension.

It's nice to have Comeau, but a guy like him gets over whelmed without a guy like Downie. The same way Tanner Glass was supposed to be the tough guy the last two years, when he was just an honest hockey player not looking to intentionally stir things up.

You can't miscast a tough hockey player as an agitator.

I expect a split in this series with the home team winning both games.

Hey my fine feathered friends! Time to wake up & waddle towards the tv. Tough game tonight for you against the Isles but I think you all will fair well! I see Sid the Kid continuing to play strong, MAF focused between the pipes & the rest of the team following their leader performing very well. 4-3 Guins is my prediction but I'm not sure about regulation, OT or after a SO. GOOD LUCK TONIGHT GUYS!!!!!! :suds:  :10:
