I'm jealous, seriously. Been a big fan of the blues for 25+ years now. Of all the blues legends I have seen over the years I have seen BB King the most, 6 times. And it was the legendary Beale Street where he got his nickname BB. How long ago has it been since you've been there?

I always go through Memphis on my way home.....roughly three times a year. Beale St is as good as advertised. Nothing quite like a good toke and a stroll down it on a summer night.

It's okay Mamba. You guys will be healthier soon, and will probably smoke a BXII team in the Alamo or Holiday Bowl. The season is still salvageable. Stanford's offense is so bad tht you guys might only need 14 points to win. UDub is the same. Very disheartening offense. But There's a whole season left to go man. Don't get down on yourself. I mean, if we lose to Ole Miss I won't be surprised. It may shock everyone else, but not me. I had us losing 2 games this year. Doesn't mean I'm gonna throw it in the bag though. Just keep Skooooooing your Ducks.

I picked Zona to win last night. I will say this much, Oregon needs to find a new head coach. Held rich just isn't Chip Kelly. He had Oregon dominating 11 of 12 games a year, very similar to how Saban has Alabama right now. But it hurts to say that Oregons run is deginitely over, unless they go find another coach soon. Which I'm not sure Helfrich would leave unless the NFL offered.

Oregon isnt done yet. As long as the Ducks win the PAC im sure they will be in the playoff.

Memphis is awesome. Loved being stationed there. That is where I got into blues and have never looked back. Beale Street is a must.

Got a job here in Memphis teaching JROTC, and the guy taking my job here is a retiring MPD officer, so he's been an outstanding source of information for Memphis.

It has been 23 yrs since I have been to BB's club on Beale Street. Have seen him 4 times total. He is going to be in Fort Wayne, IN tomorrow night with Robert Cray who is another favorite of mine. I have been to two of BB's clubs. One in Memphis and one in Nashville.

2 words for all 3 of you. Silky O'Sullivans on Beale Street. Get one of their "Hurricanes" and stroll down Beale Street. Better yet if you can make it go to Memphis in May. Memphis' Mardi Gras so to speak. Have seen the band Live, BB king, Pearl Jam, George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars. Also some other bands I cannot remember. Here is who was there last year. This is a month long festival. There was also a really cool prison/jail museum on Beale Street.

Robert Cray is another blues artist I have seen multiple times, if you go to the show have a great time!Although I didn't know that BB also has a club in Nashville.
