A&M would have won the big12 that year, as shown by the beating they put on your "co champ" in the bowl game. Yet, they didn't even finish in the top3 of their own division within the SEC that year. And the majority of the stats Manziel had that were so glamorous were bullshit and came against low quality opponents.

Missouri plays in the SEC East and was never even close to winning the SEC. It's no different than when they were winning the Big12 North.

And OU won because of turnovers.

Nope, being down by 7 with less than a minute left is an ass raping, duh.

a) I'm pretty sure I mentioned he was behind in MNC's, didn't I? He has more total wins. Winning % is within points. He's been COY twice. Bud was also COY twice, but Barry only once. He has 8 CCC's behind Bud's 14 and Barry's 12, but has arguably played in a better overall conference in the BIG 12 than did Bud or Barry in the BIG 8.

b) but did anybody every accuse Barry of being a dick? I certainly don't remember it if they did.

Believe me, Bud is the man and Barry is next in line, but Bob is close behind.

One thing about it, no other school has had 3 coaches win over 100 games for them and that ain't bad.

Twernt no innerwebs when Bare' was coachin.

Oh fuck no. A&M shattering every SEC offensive record in their 1st year and then MIZZWHO almost winning the SEC in their 2nd year already proved how overrated that conference is. An average OU team ass raping Bama last year just solidified it.

A&M's first year is not off limits, until it comes to the ass kicking we gave OU, your conf champ, I guess.

If the Sooners are up 50-0 at the half does he leave the starters in or pull them? I'm not trolling or being a homer, it's a legit question because of all the stuff between him and Saban/SEC.

WTF with starting this kind of thread, dude? This is the sort of OD-like homer trolling that gets us jinxed to lose. :gaah:

And your username is like a guarantee we'll never get the 8th. :(

So I can start using Colorado as the example of Pac12 strength for future discussions and you are ok with that?
An outstanding point. Extrema are not indicative of the entire distribution. I wonder how else that might be relevant to this conversation?

Personally I think if a scenario like that happens he will run the score up to prove a point.

I wouldn't count on that. When you start talking about running up the score before the game even starts, well strange things can happen in a game and all of a sudden you are down 14-0.

Pure speculation on your part. Aggy didn't turn it on until the Bama game. Like I pointed out before, they were lucky to beat Ole Miss in Oxford in the last minute (an Ole Miss team an average Texas team had whipped and embarrassed with ease in Oxford previously 66-31), got lucky against LA Tech (59-57) and already lost to UF and LSU. They would have had 2 losses already in the Big 12 that year. Now after the Bama game, Aggy was playing some of the best ball in the country (In fact, I would have paid money to watch Baylor vs. Aggy in the Cotton Bowl that year b/c both those teams were playing the best ball in the country at the end of the year), but prior to that they were very average at best. Pointing out how they whipped OU doesn't prove anything b/c that OU team should have lost 5 games, but lucked out by escaping WVU (50-49), Okie jr (51-48), Baylor (42-34) and TCU (24-17). Congrats to Aggy for taking advantage of having over a month to prepare for OU's god awful defense. Trevor Knight also passed for 350 yds and 4 TD's against your awful secondary. Even WVU's QB shredded your awful secondary with ease. Luckily for Bama though, ya'll only play 1 more pass happy offense this year, so the Tide should inflate those wins as usual against overrated competition.

OU wasn't the conference champ, KSU was. OU was already whipped by KSU and Notre Dame. Aggy sucked ass before the Bama game. Ya'll definitely turned it on after that game for sure.....

SEC fans aren't as "Team SEC" as you would like to believe.

We all hate each other.

"Team SEC" from my point of view is more due to "team anti-SEC" who say dumb things that need to be corrected.
