LOL, that one will never get old.......
This one either, and a bit more relevant.
Nobody is arguing that it shouldn't just pointing out it's pretty much a moot point as it isn't going to keep teams out as it currently stands and most likely won't in the future.
2013 > 2003
bowl game on national TV > non-bowl game on regional TV
During the BCS era, playing a FCS didn't hurt or help. The BCS wouldn't accept a computer ranking system that didn't omit FCS games from the formula for FBS teams.
Nobody knows what will happen in the future, as a committee will make the decision.
I think you should hold your breath until SOS really matters.

Not going to happen as long as you have that avatar. So, what's the over/under before Pearl commits a NCAA violation that gets noticed? 2.5 years?
So basically you are saying you won the battle, but not the war....congrats #18.

I'm saying that any rational OU fan would gladly give up the 77-0 beating in order to have the Cotton Bowl also not be such a lopsided whipping.
Would you not agree that you would rather have won 41-17 in 2003 in exchange for the score in 2013 having been 47-42?
dunno why. aTm was better than OU in 2013 and OU was much better than aTm in 2003.
it is what it is....

I'd bet more OU fans will remember the 77-0 score than the 41-17 score...
