The Celtics has been to the finals 21 times and won 17 championshps

Actually the Suns have made it twice:

In 1976 they lost to the Celtics 4-2.

In 1993 they lost to the Bulls 4-2.

Both series included triple overtime games.

We would of beat the bulls in 93 if Ceballos didnt get hurt he use to shut down Scottie Pippen on the defensive end no joke and avg 17 ppg that year.

Being a Lakers fan feels just fine. Sure, this years team is not what we are used to, but you can't win the title EVERY year.

The difference between the Lakers and the Suns is that Lakers fans know that the Lakers will be back to title contention within a few short years. Suns fans.........not so much.

I think we will be great again in a couple of years we have the right gm, the assets, and the cap room to do so............ Also we make frequent trips to the playoffs so Suns fans are use to a good team.

But I agree Lakers wont be irrelevant for to long.

Nah, Celtics took it 6. Game 5 of that series was one of the greatest games I've ever seen. Triple overtime and some amazing plays/shots.

Suns have been one of the most consistently well run franchises in the league for pretty much their entire existence. Unknown to many is that they also have one of the most loyal fanbases of any professional team.

They just seem to always be a player or 2 short when it comes to getting over the hump and getting a title.

The Suns run n gun style also is not going to win a ring we saw what happen to the Nuggets but that uptempo style is tradition and is fun to watch. I think that's why we drafted Alex Len get a big man which we have never needed in our system. I don't think Dragic and Bledsoe backcourt can win us a ring......

I think the Suns can win with their style, they just need to figure out a way to add a little defense to it. The biggest problem is that there have always been teams with that player or 2 that the Suns needed standing in their way.
