Anyone else find it ironic that Auburn fans would lobby to keep an undefeated team out of the NCG? Hasn't that been their battlecry for a decade now?
I can't argue with you there but you gotta do what you gotta do. My problem is all of this is way too premature and my guess is the players are hearing all this crap and Missouri will beat Auburn because of it.Anyone else find it ironic that Auburn fans would lobby to keep an undefeated team out of the NCG? This is exactly the kind of distraction that Oregon let happen and it was also fan driven. More than likely all the whining and complaining is going to be for naught.
This says it all for each and every one of us. What every situation the team we root for is in, that is what we want.I can't argue with you there but you gotta do what you gotta do. If the system is flawed and can be manipulated then you gotta play the game. I have no issue with any Ohio State fan that wants to trash Auburn and the SEC right now because I would be doing the same exact thing. This says it all for each and every one of us. You're butthurt because I am owning you and exposing you for what you are on another thread now be a big boy and let it stay on that thread and don't go following me around like a troll. So basically it's more about you than being about what is right.

It's not just fans.
John Feinstein vs John Feinstein:
2013: .....but their spectacular victory was only good enough to jump the Tigers from No. 4 in the BCS standings all the way to No. 3. Why? Because Ohio State is 12-0 and Auburn is 11-1.
Won-lost record should certainly be among the criteria for ranking teams and deciding who plays in the title game. But it shouldn’t be the criterion.
2009: I am writing to urge you -- no, implore you -- to cast your final ballot of the season with one team and one only team ranked No. 1: the University of Utah.
I say this not to demean the performance of Southern California, Texas or the winner of Thursday's Oklahoma-Florida game. All are fine teams that have had outstanding seasons. They have, however, one thing that Utah does not have.
A loss.
All of us know that in competition anyone -- whether an individual or a team -- who does not lose once is the champion. It's really pretty simple: If no one beats you, then you are the winner. You are No. 1. You go home with the first-place trophy.

you do realize that utah team beat 2 top 10 teams and 2 additional top 25 teams, right?
that's more than Auburn has beaten in case you are keeping track.
Also true
at this point in the season, utah had not beaten more ranked teams or top 10 teams than auburn has beaten.
auburn still has 2 games left to play to add to their resume.
so does ohio state, but of course even if they win both of them they will have beaten fewer top 10 and and fewer ranked teams than utah.
same goes for utah and michigan state.
I'm glad to see that Michigan State and Ohio State rule your mind.
