Blame Game week 2!

It's an effort infutility but I think we as fans can assign some blame on this loss.

Give the top 3 to assign some blame! If gor no other reason than to vent.

1. Bentley - Man you have got to turn your fucking head! That last PI was critical.

2. Willie Young - Guys an ass clown. Get some discipline and knock off the stupid penalties.

3. Akers - 2 missed FGs on one play? And a block FG. Granted you may not have been at fault but damn get the ball up.

Well we saw a revival of the end around that lost 8 yards. Drops by Grew and no real deep throws. Well maybe we can break the losing streak in DC. That would be nice for me to see in person.:pray

1. Akers -- miss from 51, get a 2nd chance 5 yards closer, miss again, 3rd try blocked.
1a. Bell -- I love the guy, but he couldn't catch a cold today. Multiple drops today.
1b. Linehan -- Play calling was absolutely piss poor in the 2nd half.
1c. Schwartz -- at what point does he get control of this team? 8 penalties for over 100.
1d. Bentley -- Please put this guy on the bench -- the only plays he makes is for the other team. He has one pass defensed and 9 PI calls against him in 6 games.
1e. Pettigrew -- just a disaster now. he has regressed since the Lions drafted him.
1f. Lions DL -- next to no pressure against a team with a poor offensive line -- not good.

I'm not going to blame the defense at all in this one. They gave the offense so many chances to score and even scored themselves. Yes, Bentley is horrible but I think it is safe to say we all knew that.

Main culprits, Pettidrops, Bell dropping passes and Akers just blows.

Also, when you need 4 yards on 4th down... Why the hell do you throw a 2 yard pass? COME ON MAN!

Great point, guy is the best player on the opposing team- time and time again. Always comes up with some stupid ass penalty at the worst times.

Not here to gloat, but I told broncosmitty i would check in after week 2. It was a tough fought game. Could have gone either way. The lions are a very solid team and have as good a shot as any team to win the division. Great game and good luck moving forward.

first blame goes to bush his fumble and his injury. without him we had no real underneath/rushing threat. then his fumble kept us from getting on track.

a problem which was severely exasperated by the defense and levy's TD. thanks to that we forfeited the 3rd quarter as we only had the ball for 1 minute at that point;
lump that on top of the 15 minute half time and the previous 4 minutes at the end of the 1st half where all we did was run up the middle before going back to the locker room and ....
our offense went over 30 minutes almost 40 without being on the field.

so surprise surprise when they come out cold and flat against a rested defense who has a clue while we were missing a key player.

then toss in bell's brick hands and the bullshit refs ticky tacking young on the fumble recovery and screwing calvin on that last play where peterson did the same thing as bentley and yeah i am more surprised we only lost by 4.

I felt that way too until about 8 minutes left and ARI slowly started creeping in, I knew the Lions were going to narrowly snatch defeat from the hands of victory as they always do.

How can you blame Bush for getting hurt? You really can't. It's part of the game. For me, the biggest loser was Willie Young for negating a key fumble recovery in the 4th. Stafford looked solid but other than Calvin, nobody else seemed to show up.

First off, Schwartz is dumb for not trying to score before the half. Akers sucks and I knew those misses would come back and bite us. I can't understand how Bently and some of these other CBs play football. They look rediculous most times. Stafford is playing very well but Pettigrew sucks bad and the other guys aren't consistant at all. Personally, I think Mayhew needs to package up some things and get a legit #2 Wr.

- Levy is on pace to finish with 16 pick 6's this year.
- Stafford looks great out there.

bad

- get rid of Willy Young. He's obviously legally retarded. Not trying to make a joke here.
- Fuck Akers. Bring back Kickalicious. He can't be any worse. Akers is washed up.
- Not sure who our CB scout is but we need a new one.
- I've finally realized it doesn't matter how good our D Line is when the opposing QB can find open receivers in 1-2 seconds.
- We need a plan B at RB. 0 points in the 2nd half without Bush. That's not going to work.
- Linehan has jumped the shark. Clearly, this offense is geared by talent and not scheme (see above). After several years as the Rams HC trying to do the same thing as he's been trying to do here for the past 5 years, the rest of the league has seen it all. He's clearly not coming up with anything new. His time is up.
- Gunther. See above.

Mayhew and and Schwartz might survive one more year, but I don't see the OC and DC making it into 2014 without a playoff appearance. Next week is a must win (ya, I said it) on the road vs. 0-2 Skins and RGknee. If he breaks out vs. us and looks like the old RG3 and beats us, then the season is totally fucked imo. The Bears look GREAT. Better than us. Don't even get me started on the Packers.
