Win shares is another stat that tells some of the story. Just cause he was named doesn't mean he is you know this. Also block shots doesn't mean youre great at D either. You are looking way to much into the media hype rather than look at reality. There was a video of interior defense stats and larry sanders is right there with Dwight.

He's a 5-time NBA rebounding leader and a 4-time first team all-time defense and 1 second team all-defense. These teams are voted on by coaches, not the media. If you haven't noticed, Dwight tends to alter alot of shots at the rim. Saying block shots are a meaningless statistic is laughable considering you constantly use RAPM as gauge to determine a player's worth on defense when I just brought 3 players up outside of Dwight that are regarded as some of the best defenders in the NBA today and their respective RAPM scores.

If you try to bring up the argument that they're only first team all defense because they're superstars then I'll also use Tony Allen as a reference who was on this list twice during his career so far.

What does win shares have to do with that stat? Dwight played for a Lakers team that struggled throughout the season, same with Kobe yet their scores are vastly far apart. Sanders was on a sub-.500 Bucks team that would've been well on it's way to the lottery draft if Milwaukee was in the Western conference. Lebron and Wade played on a team that had the best overall regular season record.

Never was doubting Dwight's ability I just said he wasn't that much better than sanders at interior defense. Blocks is not the best stat to determine defense it's about reducing effciency. Also another thing that's the past not now... Stop bringing up the past that's irrelevant now. Kobe is a lot older now. Also wade is still good defensively I'm not doubting that at all either

Iggy is not a game changer defensively. Don't get me wrong he is a solid defensive player but he's not a game changer

You are dead wrong. he is a game changer! He was top 3 in plus minus, RAPM he was The 2nd best. He made the nuggets 5 points better on defense when he was on the floor. Without him they gave up 108 points per 100 possessions. With him on the floor they gave up 103 points, huge difference.

There goes that meaningless statistic again.

He said the statistic was meaningless.

If Iggy really had that effect on D (by a reasonable statistic in his opinion) then it would be a big deal.

Also, Ham I think a lot of people are overselling the Warriors short but I think you are overselling them as strength. No doubt they improved in the offseason but before you go crowning them let's see them play together.

I'm not crowning them I'm just saying they could be a top 4 team in the west and could potentially go to the finals. He does have that effect on D hes great wing defender.

Maybe, and that is definitely debatable. I mean that for your side.

The only way the Clippers become a legit powerhouse and Title Contender is if they play Griffin at the SF and get a big PF to go with him. Also they need 10 points at least from Jordan at center....

So they need
C-Jordan 10ppg 10 rpg
PF-a big 6'10 or 6'11 PF that give them 10 points and 10 rebounds.
SF- Griffin... a post up Small forward were he can average 25 a game and grab easier rebounds.

What is so wrong with his predictions? Unless Brian Shaw is a freaking terrible coach, Denver can easily finish 5th or 6th in the West. They were a 57 win team last year. Wouldn't shock me at all if they finished ahead of Denver. As I said before GSW will finish between 5-7.

NO they will finish 3-6. Denver was so great last year cause of igoudala who is there best player. Also won 10 more games when he came on board

You talk about Iguodola like he is Lebron James or Kevin Durant.

And it is not like Iguodola left and they didn't add anyone to replace his production. They added Nate Robinson, Foye, Darrell Arthur, and JJ Hickson.

Iguodola is not as good as those 4 players.
