Any word on the injury status of Coles and Davis? All I've heard is rumors, but they're not sounding good.
And WhyTF are we trying to do hurry-up when 1) we're not really driving 2) that plays 100% into GT's gameplan. When we hurry-up and go three/six and out, we're just going to tire out our own defense. Ridiculous plan.

heard that Coles re-entered the game late? I didn't see him myself, though... can someone confirm?
When was the last time we had so few rushing yards? Why the fuck did we go away from the running game after the early success?
I didnt look it up, but I bet its been a decade since we ran so few yards.
For me, its the same old shit. Head scratching play calling. Quit on the run when its working. Force a long pass on first down, when ball control, first downs. and clock management was needed.
Whose fault?
I know it is done, the game is over, but I have to mention it.
Did anyone catch onto Spielman and The Goober (can't remember his name) questioning the personal foul where the ball was way overthrown and the GT defender laid a helmet-to-helmet onto one of our guys (may have been Davis)?? Not saying that the DB had malicious intent, but hey it doesn't have to be. Them questioning that was a bit ridiculous IMO. That is a 15 yarder and a big fine all day in the league.
Glad we aren't hearing about it today...
Georgia Tech was determined not to let us run. If they were going to lose, they were going to lose to Logan Thomas's arm and new receivers. This is why we were getting plenty of good looks down the field.
Sure was working in the 1st quarter but after a couple of failed runs they gave up on the run almost completely. I think Stinespring and O'Cain go into every game with a plan and never veer from it no matter what they see. Or they are real idiots

I agree that our offensive staff stubbornly sticks to a game plan no matter what much of the time. I just don't think it was all that prevalent in this game. We wanted to take advantage of their shortcomings in the secondary, they wanted to take advantage of our new wide receivers and hopefully (to them) instable pass blocking. We won the battle. We will run a lot more over the next month.
