There's no Heisman candidates on Minnesota.
You're correct.
According to vegas-insider.com (freddy will call them invalid) no Gophers are listed in the top 50.
But he don't wanna hear any of that logic.

Hey Moron, vegas-insider.com doesn't determine who the candidates are. Ibrahim may not have made their list because he missed all of last season. But after his 200+ yard performance in game 3, he entered many people's Top 10 lists, and even a few Top 5 lists. You're correct.

Yes there is, his name is Mo Ibrahim, you moron. There's no Heisman candidates on Minnesota.
Last year it seems that they definitely were. Outside of that, I'd have to look it up, haven't paid Utah much attention outside of last year and this yearThey were playing better teams. Utah was a better team than Oregon last year.
Utah is most definitely a better program than the trash in Minnesota.
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHATheir Heisman candidate RB .
Michigan's RB is also a candidate, the only other RB mentioned in any of the Lists I saw last week, but Ibrahim was in more of the lists than Michigan's RB. Although some of those may have been from after week 3? Ibrahim had a 200+ yard game in week three, Michigan's RB didn't have his attention grabbing game until week 4. Don't try to tell me that there is no way Ibrahim has a chance, because he does, and you are either a moron or a liar if you try to claim he doesn't.BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
thanks, that was great

His missing this weekend's game, if he comes back healthy and stays healthy all the way through the bowl game, could actually help him win or get more votes, as a RB being seen as THE REASON his team wins, bodes well for him.
I never said either Ibrahim or Corum would win, just that Ibrahim was being talked about and on many Top 10 lists and a couple Top 5 lists of potential Heisman candidates, so a candidate, I believe that is what I called him, a Heisman "Candidate". I'm talking about being a candidate to get invited to the Award ceremony, it's the Top 4 vote getters that go, right? It's been awhile since UMn got a player into the Top 4 of the Heisman voting, so not 100% sure how that all works. It's rare that running backs win, and if one does, it's usually because he carried a heavy load all season, meaning he was the primary ball carrier and had a good average yards per carry and helped the team win games and the coach didn't rotate him out hardly ever. I think Ibrahim could get into the Top 4 of the voting, but more than likely, especially in light of last year's injury and this year's as well, even if it keeps him out of only one game, from here on out, I am sure that Fleck will limit his carries as much as he can, to keep him healthy for when he's needed the most, putting Williams and Potts in enough to keep Ibrahim fresh and not overused in any one game. This will mean he'd need to break a lot of big runs to keep his total yards gained numbers up high enough and his average up high enough as well, and this may not happen with several tough rush defenses still to play, as Illinois is the #2 rush defense as of right now, PSU is the 5th best rush defense, and those are our next 2 games, and then Iowa is the 13th best rush defense and Rutgers is ranked 18th right now in rush defense. Also, he'd need the team to do well. Now his not playing in the game vs Purdue will not be held against him, the missed yards and the lack of the team winning, IF he does get good yardage when he does play, and helps lead the Gophers to enough wins, to say, win the Division Title. He also probably can't afford to miss playing in any more games, because voters may sympathize and feel bad for him if he misses any more games, but that doesn't mean that they'll give him their votes.Neither of those guys will even be in the audience…
Stroud is the current favorite, and I see little from the B1G competition they face this year to think he won’t remain among the favorites. If Iby takes a few votes away from Stroud I could see it going to Young or Williams. Closing in on 40% of the regular season behind us, I’ll wager right now that he doesn’t take home the trophy.
If he does, you win and I’ll never post on any of your threads again
I he doesn’t take home the trophy, I win and you never post on this site again.
Deal?
Do you also laugh at reporters when they report FACTS?FEI Rating has UMn at #5,
Oscar Rating has UMn at #5,
Massey Rating has UMn at #6,
BM Craig Rating has UMn at #7,
Splunty Rating has UMn at #8.
