Almost. If I lose, you can lose and still make it.

If Bandit loses you're in, but if Bandit wins and I lose he takes the division, and then you'd be competing with me for the #6 spot, and you'd take it on points.

Looking at current projections for week 14…

Bandit has the win this week all but locked. Week 14 is one his stronger weeks.

Milk and I will be very close, but I suspect he will win unless he starts looking too far ahead. I would have had him covered, but I do plan on dropping 1 or 2 of my week 14 streamers to sure up playoff rosters.

Don’t get any ideas though Gannon, I won’t allow you to get anywhere close to making up that 40 point spread between us.

Molsan and Gannon will also be very close. With neither team really needing a win to advance, it looks like both are likely to play more for future positioning. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Sam needs the win to lock up his bye, and he is currently trailing OBX by 20 points or so. Going to be very close.

So @wilwhite, looks like you are going to need that win after all. Good news for you is the point total you will need isn’t too far off.

Good luck to all in this final week!

Most likely playoff seeding based on current projections (assuming wins for Molsan, Milk and a loss for Wil). I am projecting a Molsan win, but that matchup will only determine seeding. Milk is going to be the 5 if he wins. Winner of Molsan/Gannon will be 4, loser will be 6.

At this point whatever happens, happens. There's a good chance that I finish 3rd in points and don't make the playoffs. I think this was all part of Wil's plan when he made the schedule. Clearly he knew exactly how every matchup would play out and he could win the division with a lot less points than me. LOL.

Exactly.

He even knew who everybody would draft.

Pretty amazing really.

So obviously it's too late to mess with this now, but I know you're taking notes for next year. My suggestion would be that the last week of the regular season should be treated as a true fantasy week. Let the waivers run on Wednesday and let trades happen throughout the week and play the game on Sunday night. For teams that are setting up for the playoffs and teams still trying to get in. For instance since this is set up as such a good week for me, I could trade some excess points to the team that is playing against you or Milk to help them win and not affect me winning any. Just a thought, probably because it would work to my advantage this year, but I just thought that would make things more interesting.

Sure. But the way this season has worked out it wouldn’t have done anything. Very anticlimactic even though one of me you or wil won’t make the playoffs.

It’s really all depends on whether femur cares enough in a league where he is out.

That's possible.

This season is skewed because of uneven participation (which is reasonable; it was hard to tell how much work this league would be). In reality I probably shouldn't have a shot this week. And it's still up in the air how it will play out.

I'm not a fan of late trades, especially in this league, for fear of somebody trading away a championship-making Week 17 piece just so they can stay alive one more week. That could leave a sour taste.

(I'm happy there's still intrigue this late; I was worried everything would be obvious by now.)

Yeah and like I said it could play out to where the 6 playoff teams are already clinched by now also. And holding on to a week 17 piece doesn't really matter if you don't make the playoffs. LOL. It's like being down 3-2 in a series and trying to save your best pitcher for game 7, but if you don't win game 6 then saving him was completely useless.

That is very true.

However, in this scenario, the game 7 result is a lot more predictable than in real life. We can see the upcoming scores.

And if you don’t have the horses to win in the playoffs, getting there doesn’t mean a lot.

FYI, I'm going to try to turn waivers off immediately after they run, so all dropped players will become FAs.

I could have an 8 game winning streak going if I hadn't gifted @MilkSpiller22 a week 12 win (though I would have had to have dropped a stash to have made it so). Not quite super impressive since 2 or 3 of those came against people not paying attention.

@tlance You don't have to tell me that you wont cede the division to me, lol. In a way you began to cinch it before the draft was over by targeting week 2 so aggressively in the later mid-rounds. I realized trying to keep up would probably present a dilemma whether to pick a kicker in the 13th round who would be otherwise useless and I did not want that. Two things I knew for sure after drafting: I would lose 3 of my first 5 and I would probably not be competitive in most overall points since I hampered my roster flexibility for the first several weeks. Even if I had stayed on 3 losses I am guessing you would have kept the bye beyond my reach; the worst I could have done you is impede your collection of future assets (by forcing you to continue to win).

It is funny you say that…

Because my original plan was to try to get the bye.

But, after week 10 when Molsan and I were both 8-2, you were 7-3 and Molsan had me on points, I was ready to concede the top spot and load up on weeks 15 and 16.

Then you grabbed Wilson and Davis to pair with Huntley. I realized that there was no way I was beating you on week 15 and I was also highly likely to match up with you there.

So the only option was to recommit to playing for that bye.

I just tried to set my waiver claims, but the players aren’t on waivers
