Sixers are like that big kid in high school who talks tough until someone looks him in the eye and punches him in the mouth. They are a bunch of front runners who beat up on smaller, weaker teams but fold every time they face a real challenge.

I am totally disgusted with this whole organization right now. The process failed and they need to clean house. Unfortunately it is going to be hard to do because they have Horford and Harris signed to enormous contracts. Those guys combined did absolutely nothing last night in a must-win game.

Embid is the only good player on the team, and he is soft and injury prone. It's tragic.

Simmons is never going to realize his potential because he simply doesn't care enough. I am tired of hearing about his developing jump shot every fucking offseason only to see him refuse to shoot in real games.
perhaps investing 4 max contracts on all big men was not the best idea, lol.

yah half a decade from now when the Warriors might have some cap space
Damn you’re right. I envy Cleveland’s position with all their desirable cap space.

Bob Myers paying special attention to Embiids body language. It’s ok Joel. You can come to the bay soon.

Maybe he's just not a #1 guy. Put him on the Dubs and win a couple more titles.

Hey @Iggloo do you like Wiggins and the Ws pick (we'll find out soon where it is 1 thru 5), and the Minny pick for him? Maybe a future pick too?

I would not trade Embid, but I would look to move pretty much everyone else on this roster.

because i do- at least on a level far surpassing yourself--- all though much of it is simple addition and subtraction.

I mean- its common sense- Dray, Klay, Wiggins and Curry are all signed long term to monstrously expensive deals.

at his price Horford doesnt have much value. Maybe Harris?

the problem is going to be that the cap is going to be going down for likely the next year or two. Guys signed at the very height of it are going to be tough to move unless they are guys that a team just has to have.

Simmons would bring back a lot of value and is definitely the most movable if you want to keep Embiid- which i would- i wouldnt trade Embiid for practically anything- as i am sure the Sixers are of t he same mind in that.

dont be so butt hurt that you have to bring Cleveland into teh equation....i know my comment stung a little but geez...why so sensitive? lol

just because i took your rose colored glasses off and brought to your attention the cold hard financial bottom line that the Warriors are basically locked into this team forever doeesnt mean you have to go off topic.

with the sinking cap Dray and Wiggins are, if they are not valueless- they have negative value at this point.

after major knee surgery who knows with Klay- everey year his value will continue to decline though - thats for certain.

Curry will be 33 before the playoff starts next year.

it will probably be 3-4 years until we see the cap reach a point that is higher than what the cap is this year. Maybe longer.

Remember when you said the Cavs would turn things around before the Heat? You're more full of shit than a clogged toilet.

Considering you've been a broken record for the last 4 years about how the Warriors can't afford to pay people, yet continually find ways to acquire assets in the process I would think you wouldn't be so naive about the Warriors situation.

You know what can help an aging team with large contracts locked in? Young top prospects. It just so happens that this team has a top 5 pick coming up in this draft. Two 1st round draft picks next year, including a likely well positioned lottery pick in a stacked draft class. Oh and they have a boatload of 2nd round picks in the coming years.

Here is basically what happened last year:

-Klay, Steph and Draymond got to take a year off after 5 years of playing well into the summer.
-KD decided he wanted to leave in free agency. The Warriors, who could have ended up with nothing, instead got a young 20 ppg wing scorer AND a probable lottery pick. Again for nothing.
-The Warriors signed a bunch of vet minimums who they were able to flip for additional draft picks at the deadline.
-On top of that the Warriors were able to secure a top 5 pick in this years draft.

Things could be worse....

How it will go:

1. Knicks - LaMelo Ball
2. Spurs - James Wiseman
3. Pistons - Anthony Edwards
4. Cavs - Obi Toppin
5. Warriors - Deni Avdija
6. Timberwolves - Isaac Okoro

The Knicks get their "star" or maybe he flames out.
The Spurs get another big man...potential star with Pop
The Pistons get potentially the best player in the draft and he rots until they eventually trade him away.
The Cavs and Warriors drop but still get good talent.
The Twolves get fucked right in the ass...again

Philly does need to blow the team up and start from scratch. I'm still one of the few I think who believes Simmons and Embiid can work, but they need to put a better system in place and get a more cohesive squad around both. This team has no identity. It has two star players who aren't being used to their full capabilities. Kind of feels like Milwaukee before coach Bud.

I don’t want any parts of Wiggins. I especially don’t want him in an Embiid deal. Embiid needs to bring back more than that.

Embiid and Simmons both have their issues but I think Embiid needs to be the guy to build around...too much talent. Simmons isn't really improving when I feel he has a ton of talent. Hard to blow up when they have some bad contracts..just going to have to wait it out maybe.
