Let's see, Eli has multiple playoff wins, 2 AFCCG's and 2 SB wins against the top dog both times...
Romo has 1 playoff win in his career and never sniffed a SB, then was forced to retire or be cut for a rookie...
Yeah I can see that !!!!:rolleyes2::scratch::crazy:

Romo Career QB Rating - 97.1

Eli Career QB Rating - 83.5

Let me first say I'm not sure if Romo is HOF material. Very hard for me to say but consider Sonny Jurgensen if we play the playoff record. Sonny never started a playoff game and his lifetime playoff boxscore was 6 for 12, 78 yards, 0 TD's and 3 Ints.

and if I could....Tony won 2 playoff games, that shit matters if your a cowboy fan over the last 20 plus years. LOL

So you'd rather have qb ratings instead of championships and Lombardi's....
That settles it, Retarded…..:tsk:

Well most fans know the HOF is merely a social club of likes and dislikes....Sonny was a very good qb in his time when the run was still the bread and butter of most teams but I have no idea why he's in there other than popularity....
My debate over Romo and Eli was in response to a statement that if Eli got in and Romo didn't it would be a farce.....
Marino at least made it to a SB and was a major winner over his career as far as season goes, so I can understand him in there....Romo, No.....Boys has had some greats but he ain't one of them....Good but not great.

So?

If there was a HOF for whole teams rather than individual players, those Giants teams would easily be in.

Those teams were 9-7. One of those teams was dead last in the league in rushing. You can make the argument their D line carried them but not that the team carried Eli. He was excellent in those playoff runs.

We're not discussing who I'd rather have, we're discussing which is a better QB and the stats clearly show Romo is the far superior individual player.

SB's go to the better teams. With that who do you think was the better QB.
there is something to be said about performing when the lights are the brightest. Exhibit A being Troy Aikman.

I'm not sure Romo did enough for the hall, but I'd be very happy for him if he somehow got in.

Honestly I have no issue if Romo doesn't make the Gall or if Eli does, but there is no doubt in my mind Romo was the better QB.
Romo's teams didn't win enough in the post season while Eli's teams did. The post season weighs heavily with the HOF voters.

Eli was SB MVP in at least 1 of the 2 SB's he won, and Romo was, well MNP.....Most Nonvaluable Player in any game that meant anything …
You can't be serious, Romo had some great players around him and still couldn't win, Eli got it done twice and you still maintain that Romo was better....

Yes, and anyone that says otherwise knows nothing about football. Romo is clearly, far and away, the much better QB.

Brad Johnson won a Super Bowl. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl. I suppose that makes them better QBs than Marino.

Eli did it twice against the Pats and was MVP of at least 1 of those wins.....
And are you really dumb enough to compare Tony OhNo to Dan Marino ??????
You are a certified idiot for sure....
Romo has been the butt of jokes in this league for yrs and you think he is better than a 2 time SB champ......Whew, that takes a lot of stupid to whip that opinion up dude !!!!!!
So I guess in your opinion , it was the team that held the great Tony OhNo back from winning multiple SB's ???....I mean if he was that good, A HOF TE, playmaker wr, best oline in the league and some top rated rb's had to of held him back....
They threw all the crucial INT's, muffed a winning kick hold, kept getting injured and caused a rookie to take his job.....Brilliant !!!!!:L

The argument isn't about the team around Romo or Eli. The argument is, on an individual level, who is the better player. And it is clear to anyone that knows anything about football that Romo was far and away the better individual QB.

The fact that you feel the need to bring up the teams they played on shows the weakness of your argument. You bring up the SBs as if an individual player is responsible for winning a SB, which is fallacious at best and ignorant at worst.
