NFL executives also think the Rams had just as good of an offseason, yet they just that little blurb in the article.
I thought they had a good offseason until I read the article and realized they didn't. Cutting cap is good and a key to keep winning, but it's pretty easy when you let good players go and bring in not so good players
It would have been better if it said. "Pats have good offseason, keep BB, TB and Gronk from leaving. Who cares what else happened"
I do recognize that most non-Patriots fans do not agree with cutting veteran players.

Did you cut them or were all/some FAs? The point is you downgraded a lot in talent. Cutting vets can be smart (see Dez as example). Decreasing the talent on your team is usually not...
