Yikes. Hopefully this doesn’t turn them into a terrible football program.

It would be stupid to fire Beaty before the season. At least give him this next season and see if there's improvement. And then you can hire a coach when they're are some better candidates available.

We were discussing the Kansas situation on another board. Kansas screwed up when they fired Mangino and didn't replace him with Frank Solich. Solich wasn't going to be a long term solution but he's a good enough coach and a big enough name that it's likely they wouldn't have fallen right straight back into the abyss.

This is big news.

Do they believe that Cristobal will leave Oregon this close to
the 2018 season?

You cheating bastard!

I knew about the other board first. It was only after some friends got banned from there and found here that I checked it out. So you should feel honored being the "side chick" LOL

Some info to make you go hmmmm.

Sarah Harbaugh (Jim's wife) is from western Missouri/Kansas City suburbs, and has a lot of family in that area. That is very close to Lawrence, Kansas.

So, if/when Jimmy gets run out of Ann Arbor......

I think you thinking of their D coordinator, Jim Levitt, and Kansas St. He has clause in any contract that he can always bail without financial penalties if it’s that specific program that wants him.

As for Crystalballz he’ll be fired by Uncle Phil about 2 seasons from now, and will go back to being a midmajor coordinator where he belongs.

Actually I was just taking a jab at Oregon folks.

Kansas would have a difficult time hiring Leavitt because he was fired
from USF for roughly the same thing KU fired Mangino for.

Harbaugh SHOULD have been the HC of the Jayhawks...

We opted for Turner Gill instead...

Lew Perkins can burn.

If I was the Kansas AD and I was looking for a new HC I'd take a hard look at Kansas native Willie Fritz and I'd give Beau Baldwin (Cal OC) a good look.

While I agree helooks good as a prospect, I do not think his offensive style would match well in the Big 12. He he runs and offense somewhat similar to Georgia Tech if memory serves me correctly.

Willie runs the read option. When Georgia Southern hired him from Sam Houston they told him he'd have to run the triple option or look for another job. Once he took the Tulane job he went right back to the read option. The Seattle Seahawks run the read option with Russell Wilson.
