In other words, this is how that term started. Commentators and reporters around the game coining that phrase based off a school putting a high number of players from that group into the league.

In Don James run UW was known as QBU at one point having 8 active in the league with several starters. It at one point was called TEU.

It's subjective kind of and often called that by crews of that school so no doubt there are more than one making the same claim at the same time, but then I don't recall anyone ever really claiming it means more than that school has put a solid number in. It doesn't mean some other school might have an even bigger claim and still be valid for yours.

huh i always kind of thought it had to do with productive college players while in college.
