I'm glad the Yanks have won a few but Boone is driving me nuts.

Gray has an ERA 3 runs less with Romine and even though there was a day game Saturday he choose to have Sanchez catch him Friday night.

Tyler Austin should be playing first every day. Walker sucks, isn't hitting and can't play a competent 1st base.

C.C. had a 4 run lead and only had 80 pitches and he takes him out. Let him pitch the 7th. Ok, maybe you want to get Betances in there with the 4 run lead to work through his issues but with this offense there will be plenty of opportunities to do that. With all the injuries to the pen pushing C.C. one more inning to 90 to 95 pitches would have been a good idea

Said so much of the same yesterday

No reason I need to see Neal Walker a day after Austin has 4 RBI

I thought he needed to stretch CC cause you almost have to expect to need the pen tonight with Gray

Hopefully tonight is the beginning of Romine with Gray

Sanchez is gonna get his rest day either way, may as well be with Gray

I was also surprised he took CC out when he did, but I think you're right-he saw an opportunity to try to let Betances work stuff out and he took it. Not the best decision in hindsight.

I'm not that crazy about Austin's D either, but at least he's going to give competitive abs. Walker (who in his defense didn't really have a spring training) has been horrible.

Come on Greg Bird.

I'm not saying Austin is Mattingly at first but he's better than Walker. Yeah, no spring training but he's had a few ab's now and he's not showing improvement. I have a feeling he may be shown the door once Lind has a few more minor league ab's. Certainly once Bird is back, if he's ever back. They have more than enough infielders without Walker.

Greg Bird (ankle) was held out of baseball activities Tuesday because of an ingrown toenail, but he is still slated to go to the team’s complex in Tampa on Friday. Bird believes he will be back with the Yankees next month.

Jonathan Holder looks like Sandy Koufax every time he is asked to come in with a 6 run lead

he looks like Pure Steel throwing with the wrong arm after a 12 pack in every tight situation

This may be the greatest lineup ever assembled, but Cash looks like he dropped the ball on not adding at least one starter, even if it was a guy like Jason Vargas......They cant replace Gray if they wanted to, they literally have nothing

Gray is a nibbler and if a nibbler isn't getting an inch or two off the plate they get in trouble.

It seems like Gray never gets that inch or two he needs to be effective.

Green being stretched out as a starter is their only option, but the pen isnt strong enough to do it
