:nono:

Was I here talking shit DURING the ass whooping game 1? No, bitch, I didn't come around until morning. When they lost I was here within the hour giving props to D Wade. You're a small little man to talk shit and not see that.

CLLEARLY this dope has't learned his lesson...

FACT: YOU brought the bullshit...

FACT: YOU were in ghost mode while your boys got thumped...

FACT: doesn't matter WHEN you started your stupidity...

we're you born this stupid? or did you have to work to this level...

Honestly I really don't't care how much of a coward you are. The fact that you crawled back on your hands and knees AFTER the fact was enough for everyone to see. so how about a bold prediction for Thursday? Oh, and please TRY not to lie and make shut up this time... :D

Portland better get their ish together! :D

I also think Portland doesn't commit to defense like they should - and that is a + for NO.
Portland looks done.

Poor Dame.

I agree. But I would also say that the Sixers are playing with house money this year. Putting them into pressure situations isn't necessarily the end of the world. Especially if they are concerned about Embiid's health long term.

Considering that they have likely arrived a year early and there is no expectation that they even advance very far, let alone make the finals...I'd say that the more pressure situations they are put in, the better.

They will learn from them and be better for it.

It's market determined dude. There aren't too many teams this off-season that are going to be flush with cap space. The ones that are, are generally bad teams.

Redick will be 34 at the end of this season, in June. What teams do you think will offer him big money for multiple years?

Also the 23M is an outlier. It was a one year deal and Philly had to over pay. Next year they could be a real contender depending on acquisitions.
I am just being realistic here.

I always love how everyones "WELL he could take a hometown discount" blah blah blah.

you can deal in all the far fetched scenarios you want to try and put together a retort, but id prefer not to live in fantasy land where lamp posts are made of gum drops and lebron takes a vet. min deal along with CP3 so they can team up and be the bestest team in the world ever.

im dealing with the most likely scenarios developed from the information that we have-- not the what ifs and could be's that you can literally say about anything.

Oh FFS.

JJ Reddick was offered 23 million a year for a few reasons.

1. The Sixers desperately needed more 3 point shooters. Their system relies on it.
2. The Sixers had been a perennial bottom feeder for years.
3. The Sixers had a TON of available cap space.

Absolutely no one was going to offer JJ Reddick 23 million a year. Prior to coming to Philadelphia he had never made more than 8 million a year. But JJ always was looking for a long term contract as this was probably his last chance at a pay day. He was looking for 3 years and somewhere above 8 million a year. The Sixers didn't want to sign him to a 3 year deal. So they chose to offer him a wildly over market deal to lure him to Philly while also keeping their cap flexibility.

Reddick resigning with Philly for 8 million isn't taking a hometown discount. It's his true market rate and absolutely ZERO teams are going to offering him more than 10 or so million a year.

Whatever Lebron is going to do it is because that is where Lebron wants to go. If he wants to stay in Cleveland, he will stay in Cleveland. If he wants to go to LA he will go to LA. And if he wants to go to Philly he will go to Philly. Every team will make it work.

yah i have no doubt about the above bolded

I would be MORE than willing to bet you that Redick signs a deal for over 10M a year AND that if LeBron goes to Philly that Reddick will not be there.

You win if EITHER of these things happen--- Reddick gets less than 10M a year--- or Reddick resigns with the Sixers if LeBron is with the Sixers.

I win if--- LeBron signs with the Sixers and Reddick is gone--- or if Reddick gets a contract averaging over 10M a year.

I think they will both try to play.

But, Paul was doing a Steve Nash at the end of last game getting his ass massaged while he laid on the floor.

Take that shit to the locker room....lol
Yea, & he didn't participate in practice. So, could mean he's saving himself for the game or could mean he's still in pain. We shall see later though.

Portland looks done.

Poor Dame.
I think Portland needs a better coach. I think with the talent they have they could benefit from a strong offensive minded coach - one that draws up plays to move the ball.

What they do now is just try to outscore everyone - and we saw last post season in the first round they lost 4 straight to GS even with Dame/CJ combining for 75 points. So just relying on your two guys to take over isn't working.

The last 3 seasons they have had early exits. in '15 they were a first round knock out against GS. '16 they only made it to the 2nd round because CP3 AND Blake both got hurt (and before those injuries Portland was originally down in that series) and then last season of course the sweep. Something has got to change.

Well if you live in a land of reality, realistically, where can he go and what sort of offer do you think he receives? At least with my narrative, I've put in value to other teams having limited cap space. It's not a hometown discount, or even a discount at all much less if you don't have other competitive offers to compare it to.

Dame went to the Owner during the Season to talk about the direction of the team.

If they get bounced, does he request a trade?
