"We're two completely different people," Mayfield said. "I've always been a team-oriented guy. Not saying that Johnny wasn't. But I've quickly earned the respect of my teammates because of how I worked.

Mayfield acknowledged last weekend that NFL personnel have talked to him about having more awareness of his social media use and trying to stay out of trouble. But coaches have long praised his leadership and infectious energy.

Comparing Mayfield to Manziel is a bit ridiculous IMO.

Yeah, Mayfield might be a dumb frat boy at time and make dumb decisions, but unlike Manziel, there's absolutely zero question about Mayfield's love of the game.

Baker might not be a good NFL QB but if he isn't it will not be because he didn't care or didn't put in the effort. He loves the game and wants to do everything he can for his team to be successful and his teammates to be successful.

Then we disagree. I'm a huge fan of the draft. But it isn't a game. The player being drafted most times isn't even sure of the team that will draft him. So he has no idea of the future teammates that he will be "letting down" by not attending. Baker has the potential to be another Rogers. I have zero issue with him not wanting that kind of attention.
