They just replayed it on the Dan Patrick show. People just don’t think before opening their mouth. Don’t call someone’s 5 year old child a “piss ant,” especially on the air with a prominent sports figure. I don’t blame Brady for being upset.

Good for him. Radio shocks are gigantic losers. The station should fire him for being so unprofessional and stupid.

The Detroit Lions walked away from 97.1 The Ticket here in MI because the stations mascot (a Michigan State homer clown) kept attacking them on personal levels. Dude lost the whole Lions gig for the station. Moron.

Damn it.
They took the DP show off the local station here a couple of weeks ago. Hasn't really bothered me until now.

WEEI was also informed by Brady that he would no longer continue his Monday morning visit with Kirk & Callhan. They were just informed that K & C were the #1 rated morning drive show in the country. Their ratings will probably pop when people tune in to hear what it's all about. I live up here and listen to WEEI a lot. Kirk Callahan was the reason that John Dennis left WEEI because of Kirk Minnhane's bullshit. The ratings dropped like rock for almost a year. Jerry Callahan almost left but WEEI begged him to stay and he agreed. In my opinion Reimer's an ass. He's a third voice and I just don't care for him at all. When he's on at any time, I switch to Sirius and listen to 60s and 70s.

Merk my words.......Belichick will end his weekly visit with 'EEI too.

Every jock on the air thinks he's the next Howard Stern......

If they don't see it as being something to fire him over, they should at least demote him from being on the air. It's one thing to say it amongst family and friends, or think it, and whole other thing to say it aloud while repenting one's company they work for. Name calling a 5 year old is just dumb and immature. Hope all the Patriots drop this station for a better one. I'm not from New England, but there has to be a better station out there?

Wow how inappropriate, and shame on WEEI to hell with a suspension they should have fired him on the air in the moment.

Read this morning that Reimer has been suspended indefinitely.

That's a start, firing is better.

Free Dunkin Donuts and pony rides for life for Brady's kid is better, but still not enough.

Pats and EEI just signed a multiyear contract extension, could be some legal entanglements to sort through before Brady's allowed to just walk away from doing the interviews.

They didn't sign a deal for Brady I would suspect the Pats can send who they want?

Could be, without seeing the wording of the contract who knows, but I doubt EEI would want a multiyear deal to do a drive time on-air interview with the backup long snapper.

Yeah, but Brady's contract is with the Patriots. Unless his contract specifies that he has to go on that show, it would be up to the Patriots to send him, and I doubt they would make him do it after someone shit talked his kid.

Contract probably does not allow for degradation and defamation.

All player contracts are also governed by the CBA, though, which does have some language in it about players making reasonable efforts to cooperate with media promotions on the club's behalf (while the clubs are also conversely beholden not to put undue burden on the players). So I'm just saying it might not all be as simple as Brady can just walk away from doing it because he's pissed at one nasty comment made by one a-hole at the radio station.

We were having dinner one night a number of years back. My daughter was about 2 at the time and we had been out Christmas shopping all day. We were all hungry and an hour from home so we went into an Italian joint.
Noisy, loud, family oriented joint full of Christmas cheer and people beginning to drink off the outer edges of shopping stress.
Hard to hear if you can immerse yourself in the scene.

My daughter began to sing. A two year old singing some Christmas song in a voice that only a two year old that has just recently learn to speak has. A voice from heaven. Not loudly, just passing time as we perused the menu and attempted to converse about our ensuing choices once the waiter returned.

Some crotchety guy sitting in the booth behind my son and daughter turns and vehemently says "will you shut that kid up??!!"

I started to get up while throwing F-Bombs like only a true Yankee can but the waiter caught me, my wife drew back her wine like she was a catcher throwing out Darrel Strawberry in his prime, but I stopped her...

I know what Brady was thinking when some douche insulted his pride and joy. Wanted to throttle him but kept a cool head.

Old guy got kicked out of the restaurant...It was a family oriented Italian joint.

So Pats send someone else to EEI. Tom goes somewhere else.

EEI sues for breach of contract, Tom sues for defamation. The whole time EEI is losing listeners by the boatload.
