Most of Darnold's horrendous performance has to do with a Buckeye D line that would not allow him the time to set, go through his reads, etc. Hats off to the Buckeyes. With all of that said, the one bright side of all of this is maybe Darnold will see he needs another year of polish and comes back. If not, welcome to Cleveland, and enjoy the trip to the land of QB obscurity.Try to stay on topic. What does the depth chart at SC next year have to do with Darnold's horrendous performance tonight? For that matter, what does it have to do with the coaching staff's inept performance tonight?
There is a time to be aggressive on defense but protecting a 14-point 4th quarter lead with 5 minutes to go is not that time.
