Music has evolved over time.....The Beatles certainly did change the game, but the massive shift in music before The Beatles was Presley. It can be debated as to whom altered the course more, but Elvis most certainly impacted music like few others in history.

2. If Jimi were white we never would have heard of him... this could be 1b.

This thread has been much less annoying today. I've even enjoyed it, and haven't once felt like stabbing anyone.

Tom Petty is one of my favorites. The guy just kept putting out good tunes. He was also a part of the best "supergroup" ever in The Traveling Wilburies.
Full Moon Fever was a great album.
Wildflowers was a great album.
Those are 2 of my favorites from his solo career.
